This morning I was going through my wardrobe once again wondering what to wear today. I was hoping to make up some combination I had never worn before, and tried seriously to figure out some cool way to wear my old clothes.
So then it hit me, and I remembered one age-old green knit I haven't worn for ages (until this day, my fiancé hadn't seen it... lame, huh?) And I figured, it's exactly something I want to style, to make it wearable again.
And the following is what I came up with:
Outfit of the day
Knit: gifted by a relative years ago, Furry vest: Only, Jeans: H&M, Bracelet: H&M, Wedges: SpiritStore, Headband: Accessorize, Earrings: H&M, Tube scarf: made by me.
I felt kinda retro in this outfit, mostly because that knit is so old it's practically vintage. I mean, seriously, I don't even exactly know how old it is :D
It was nice to have still so warm weather that I could easily go out on a knit and a vest without getting cold at all. Of course, I was also armed with a perfect pair of mittens from Indiska. You'll see them on later posts, I'm sure.
As you might remember from the previous post, I bought this new OPI nail polish this week. So, I kinda couldn't wait to try it out...
Manicure of the day
Base: IsaDora Wonder Nail shade 651, Silver Sparkles. (Two coats)
Top: OPI (Muppets collection) shade Fresh Frog of Bel Air. (yep, clearly the Kermit shade.) Also added two coats.
I also put top coat to make the whole thing more log-lasting. The shade of the OPI is absolutely fab, very bright green (even though it doesn't properly show in the pictures.). I can't wait to try it out with other polishes too.
Which reminds me: Does anyone of you know where to find bright green nail polish to match that shade above? I'm a bit clueless. I'm very, very thankful if someone could tell me. Thanks!
I'm so happy it's nearly weekend, can't wait to get some rest and watch all the episodes of my favourite tv shows I've missed during this hectic week. And of course I want to cook something delicious, like today when I made this Italy inspired bread - I'll give you the recipe the next time I cook it, one of the best fingerfoods (well, it's a bit heavy for that, but...) I've tasted!
But hey, what are your plans for this weekend? :)
Blog ya later,
