Boys, Boys, Boys

Hey Lovelies,

How's your week? ♥

I've been a little less busy than usual, so I thought I'd do a makeover to my blog. See, it's pink :D

I'm updating the other pages when I have the time, don't care about the mess meanwhile...

So, what do you think about the new layout of the blog?

You remember how I told you that my weekend went with the guys and hockey? Well, now would be the time to post a few pictures from Saturday.

First up, the cake I baked for our friend, who turned 30.

His birthday was on Saturday, and we had agreed to go hang out with him and our other friend. We watched hockey from TV, talked, and went through Trivial Pursuit questions. It was totally relaxed and fun.

Before that, my fiance and I went to a hockey game with our other friend, a man who's also my dad's friend. Yes, he's a bit older so I think more than one person thought he was either one's dad. :D Well, it happens :D

Anyway, here's few shots from there:

Interview before the game. (I have no idea who they are...)

Photobucket

Empty rink - and semi-empty stand.

Photobucket

Used-to-be important players' shirts.

Photobucket

My fiance's favourite team - plus random people from the audience.

Photobucket

Ready-Set-Go!

Photobucket

The most important player. :D

And the zebras, again.

I truly enjoy hockey games, and I can never quite show the intensity through photos. But I try. If I get even one person to go and see what it's like to be in a hockey game, I consider it an achievement. ;)

So, what does one wear while hanging as one of the guys?

I thought this would be it:

Outfit of the day

Jeans: GinaTricot - but all the details DIY
Top: GinaTricot
Belt: Seppälä
Shoes: SpiritStore
Cap: Porin Ässät fan shop (yes, it's a hockey accessory)
Bracelet: Bijou Brigitte

So, here you have it. I kinda felt like sporting a rock edge look since I'd be doing all kinds of boyish things the whole day. This way, no need to watch my clothes so much, and I can just chill out. The cap was a nice touch, though I usually don't wear hats inside - it feels a little awkward to me. And the shoes, gosh I loved to wear them after the long winter. It still isn't quite the weather for them, but we're getting closer...

What do you wear to sports events?

I got some fun news on weekend as well, I heard that we're going to Helsinki, the capital of Finland next weekend. That means great food, pretty places, little shopping and who knows what else. So, I'll be having somewhat interesting posts next week. :)

But before that, a couple of days of school and many things to do...

At least, the waiting doesn't seem that long.

Anyway, I hope you're all having a fabulous day! (and week, as well)

Blog ya later!

xoxo

Johanna
