Is your weekend going well? :)
Mine totally is, though I'm having a trouble with my Internet - again. It's supposed to be 100/5Mb (or something like that) but the truth is something totally different. I have to rely on my unreliable portable web to upload my photos. How lame is that?
Well, at least, I get it done.
Right?
But on the more positive note, my parents are visiting now, and our place is finally in top shape (mom, thanks for being enough pressure for me to get things done ♥ Really though, I love you.). And of course tomorrow will be fun day with shopping, eating and enjoying wine. Gotta love that. (And, my camera will be replacing my other hand most of the time, so you'll get full coverage ;))
Also, there's few awards waiting that I should post here - that'll be on next week as I will be unglamorously working long hours and studying for my exams (again) because I have a total 3 on Friday. Crazy!
Anywho, what'll you be all doing this weekend? Report to me ;)
Is anyone out there wondering what my home town looks like at this time of the year? (Probably not, but you'll see now, like it or not :D)
Tampere, Finland.
A little bleak, maybe, but it's getting better as we get closer to Summer ;) You'll be seeing some more landscape on future posts. (and you maybe understand why I take pictures inside, and not in the middle of snow and wind?)
Also, here's something I cooked recently (day before yesterday):
Ham-cheese pie ♥
This is as delish as it is simple, and I'm surprised I haven't done this for so long. Oh, well. It's tomorrow's breakfast, then. ;)
Today's outfit was something I came up with some days ago, and I gotta say, it's not as flattering as it could.. Maybe because I'm short and yet, wanted to make the top look baggy. Don't know. But hey, I was with the family today, so it doesn't really matter.
Right?

I had promised my mom that I'd do her nails when she visited next time, and I was eager to get to it. I seriously love doing nail art (well, I guess that's not a surprise at all?) so it was a super fun task. :) My mom is a bit different than me when it comes to nails, her nails won't grow too long without breaking, and that's why she prefers neutral shades - or pastels.
So, we chose the colours and pattern together, and here's the result:
Manicure of the day, Mom edition
I was using Mavala's Miami shade as a base, as it is a super young and fun colour. Plus, I thought it compliments mom's skintone. And, for the final girl touch, some sweet little hearts with white polish, to show some love.
Aren't these just so cute? Maybe I'll do something like that next ;)
However, here's what I have on my nails now:
Manicure of the day
Sorry for them being a bit messed because of my job... But anyways, I was playing with this pastel blue shade from Mavala. (Which kinda looks purple now... Weird.) I stamped it with white flowers and pink butterflies and called it a day.
What do you think? :)
Anyway, I must get some sleep now, lots of things going on tomorrow, so... (And sorry if I'm missing any action, but you know, nothing matters like family ;))
Blog ya later!
Johanna
