New Hair and Lace Love

Hi lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I'm in the middle of playing an intense tournament of Super Smash Bros Brawl on Wii with my fiance, but decided to come and say hello to you all. This Thursday has been a national holiday in Finland, so we've been chilling out at home, and watched some hockey (for those who don't know, there's an ice hockey world championship tournament going on, and I for one am very excited about it) while eating great food.

And that great food reminded me about how I had a food post waiting for you, so I posted it some hours ago. So, if you love baking, see here. :)

Another thing, I was kindly featured by Terry's Two Cents blog few days ago for my previous look. Thank you so much for the mention, Terry! I truly appreciate it.♥

Did I remember to mention I went to hair stylist, wanting something new to my hair? Well, that I got. And I love it. It's a bit more dark, and more red, than I imagined, but I'm more than happy about it. I'm sure that after few sunny days outside, it'll be quite much lighter again - that's just how my hair works... :D

Anyway, here's my new hair and some lace love, as the weather really is warming up quite nicely now. So, you'll be seeing kinda lot lace on my outfits this Summer. ;)

I'm sorry if the pictures are a tiny bit dark, they were taken quite late at night... This was an outfit was so fun to wear, I love the lace, and the accessories here so, so much, and I like the way my new hair colour looks like with it. It's been something to get used to, the hair, as I've been blonde for a quite a while now... But it's not too dark, so I can live with it. But what can I say about the outfit is that the top was a surprise find the other day, there was a huge pile of them in Gina Tricot - on sale rack - so I just innocently took a look at them, and kinda fell in love. And what's not to love about it? It's mint, made from lace, and has some peplum (though I kinda swore I'd never wear peplum, look at me being so wrong...), so it's perfectly girly for this Summer. I just have to find out some fun ways to wear it. ;)

Besides my hair, I was trying something new with my nails. I've never really been into creating manicures with pearls, jewels and whatever - just because I find it all so impractical, as they tend to fall off if you do anything harder than reading a magazine. However, this time I was willing to try it out as I found perfect little pearl halves from a craft store. And here's what I did:

Light blue base, blue and white flowers and then some pearls. Gotta say, the pearls didn't last too long, at least, not all of them, but this would be a nice mani for some party or other fancy event.

But anyway, I'm off now, to play a little more with my lovely man. I hope you'll all have a lovely start for your weekend! ♥

    i already miss you blog posts!!! i was kinda busy these past few days.
    i love your hair that way because you look more fresh and so beautiful.
    and you look so pretty with peplum dress, i never wear peplum and i think i will buy some peplum dresses for summer.
    i thought i would never wear sneakers but then i have to go to the gym, so i must wear sneakers. looks awkward and looks weird on me. i wont post my picture with sneakers! lol.
