Heya lovelies!
How are you all? ♥ And how has your weekend started?
It's Father's Day here in Finland on Sunday, and we're spending it with my parents. I found time to come here and say hello just before going to sleep. (It's nearly 2am here, I seriously should be sleeping already!)
Today I was thinking I'd share some of my favorite weekend food (and snacks) with you, as well as one outfit.
Now, the ones who know me in real life know that I love cooking and eating A LOT. Seriously, with my eating habits, I should probably weigh a ton. I don't understand where my body puts all the calories I take in. Here are some examples of my food, aka random pictures I haven't found the right time to post before.
So my weekend eating is very much what you see above (just add in occasional pizza, kebab and drinks!), Caesar Salad, sushi, burgers, candy, potato chips, sparkling wine, soda... Not too healthy. Except maybe the sushi. Though, we only live once, so why be boring with your food?
Nevertheless, this series of pictures got me thinking. Not that I'd feel fat or unhealthy, but simply because I don't wanna feel that way anytime soon. I once had a passion for running - which now is something I haven't done in years - but after seeing another Finnish blogger girl finding this fun little 12 week program for beginners, I think I will try and wake up my passion once again. And I'm challenging my man in, too, as it's more fun to run together. I'm not a gym person (to be honest, I hate going to gym quite a lot), but I love yoga and running. So I think I will make a promise to you now, that come next Spring, and I'll be running regularly, as well as doing my yoga. No excuses.
Another thing is that I put myself in a little shopping ban for the rest of the year. Reason? To get my closet in a better shape, to get more thoughtful about shopping, to save money - and to avoid shopping on holiday time. I don't like how the Christmas is nowadays all commercial and just about buying the latest from this and that brand, while it tries to be a religious holiday. Now, don't get me wrong, I love giving presents (and I don't mind if someone wants to give me one, either) but too much is just too much.
So at least till the end of the year, it's shopping ban for me. No excuses there, either.
Okay. Maybe that's enough of the heavy stuff. If you read all above, thank you. If not, well, it's not the end of the world. ;)
But today's outfit is here: (and may I say how I miss the green nature? It's winter already!)

But today's outfit is here: (and may I say how I miss the green nature? It's winter already!)
Tunic: Gina Tricot
Lace leggings: Gina Tricot
Bag: Mango
Heels: Boohoo
Faux leather jacket: H&M
Round scarf: Gina Tricot
Earrings: JC
Necklace: Gina Tricot
Ring: JC
Simple to the point, as my style seems to be quite a lot nowadays. I was combining girly with rock chic/boho, playing with neutral tones and keeping it comfy. I love round scarves on autumn/winter, as they are so easy to just grab and put on even in a hurry, and not much settling or fussing needed. They're perfect if you are like me, and have troubles with starting your engines in the mornings. ;) I think one could wear a style like this both at school or for a casual day in the city. Shopping, for example, is easy with this outfit, because there's not much to take off when trying on things, but still there's enough to keep you warm in Autumn weather.
And now, lovelies, the word is yours. Do you like this outfit? And, have you made any lifestyle resolutions lately - if so, what are they? Leave your thoughts below, I'm curious to hear what you have to say. ;)
Have a lovely weekend everyone! ♥
Blog ya later,
xoxo

Mä tässä itsekin etsiskelen tuota motivaatiota lipaston laatikoista :D mutta eiköhän se jostain löydy :) En kans liikaa rakasta kuntoilua, siksi en harkitsekaan kuntosalikorttia :D
DeleteVery cute outfit Johanna! Tell your dad Happy Father's Day! My father has passed (2007) but we celebrate it in June here in the States. Glad he had a great day! I love all of the food pics! WOW, everything looks so good girl :) I use to buy so much crap! hahaha I've sold a lot of my things and now only buy what I truly need. A lot of it is unnecessary! Good for you for cutting back :)
