Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've just today realized it's already July, and that I haven't gotten enough summer looks to the blog. I will try to start correcting that tomorrow by having my hubby take some outfit photos of the daily office look (which you always can see on Instagram even if they don't make it to the blog all the time), taken that it's not storming outside or anything the whole day.

Today, I thought it would be fun to share some nail art before getting back to the travel posts - so that there would be enough content for everyone, even for those who don't care about F1 that much. So below, you can see the designs I have for you this time:

Happy Wednesday ♥ (or whatever day you're living while reading this)

I hope you're all doing fine today - I know I am, since things have been going so well lately. I've been learning how much people in my life really care about me, and that really has been pretty overwhelming. Also, I'm pretty hyped about spring even though this week we've been having a bit more chilly weather here. I would be so ready for skirts and shorts but I guess the transition outfits will have to do for now.

Anyway, because of the sunny days, I've been having so much fun with colorful nail polish, and today, I would like to show you couple of designs I've done this spring:



First, these super cute neon rainbow nails with some gradient effect and matching little round studs. I don't know where I got the idea from, I guess I have seen the color scheme around the web somewhere, and just wanted go have my own twist by adding the studs.





The polishes I used were all by China Glaze, except for the orange one that is actually just from H&M. But the China Glaze shades I used were: Sun-Kissed, In The Limelight, Splish Splash, Escaping Reality and Surfin' For Boys. Studs are from Born Pretty Store.



I had so much fun making these that I don't even mind that they didn't come out perfect. They were close enough for me. Making gradients is actually one of my favorite nail art techniques, and I could do my nails always with it. But for the sake of getting better at things, I do other stuff too.



So that was the first look. But if you prefer more toned down, the next design might be the thing for you:



Beige nails with neon tips. Also pretty fun thing to create, and easy, too. (For a French tip tutorial, check out this post!) This is appropriate for most of the places you might end up to, as it is showy, but still very subtle.





Oh, and don't mind about the weird middle finger there, the nail had a little accident and I tried to secure it a bit but the end result was a mess even a full manicure couldn't cover it.



The polishes I used for this were all by China Glaze: Kalahari Kiss, Sun-Kissed, Sun Of A Peach, Flip Flop Fantasy, Escaping Reality and Surfin' For Boys. Can you see me having an addiction here? Me too.

Happy Friday ♥

I hope you're all doing well today - I sure am, as yesterday with boys was so much fun! Soon I'm going to the extra shift at work (yeah, call me crazy, I switched my Friday off with hockey for four hours of working. I know, insane.) but after that, it's weekend. My friend J and her boyfriend E are coming to visit us tomorrow, which is so fun as I haven't seen either for a year or so! Can't wait to see them.

But today, I just thought I'd share a quick little nail art post with you, as I haven't done so in so many days (well, in like 7 days, but anyway). I hope you'll like them!



First up is a French mani with a little twist to it. It has black tips instead of white, and on the ring finger there's a cross. That day I was in the mood for simple manicure, and that's what I did.



The polishes I used were Essie Muchi Muchi, and Essie Licorice.



Sorry for the weird zoom in the pics, I really need to invest on a better lens for macro shots.





The other one, well, it's very different. Neon colors felt like the thing that day, so I created a color block mani with tape, where I used these delicious shades.



The polishes here are all by China Glaze. The shades were Flip Flop Fantasy, I'm Not Lion, and Aquadelic. I love them all a lot!



I consider this the first proper Summer manicure for this year, those colors were such a mood booster ;)



And, if someone ever wonders, yes, I always do both hands!

How are you all? ♥

This week has been much more quiet one for me as the previous, thank God! Today, we're planning to go and get some more decorating stuff into our home so that we could finally have everything in place and the details in order. You know how they say that decorating is women's stuff, and how straight men never bother to decorate? Well, not so much in our home. Every detail is more or less decided together, and I always try to ask my fiance's opinion before buying new stuff in. Just so that our home would be a home for both of us, and not just an apartment I have decorated and where my fiance just lives in. ;) (Because that's how he would feel if I decorated all by myself.)

But today, as our home isn't ready to be blogged quite yet, I'll be posting some more nail art stuff.

The first mani is this mix'n'match thing I did some weeks ago. It included studs, glitter, pink and leopard print, so of course I loved it quite a lot.



This one was once again inspired by the talented girls in IG, which is at the moment my greatest place for nail art inspiration.



I'll be probably doing more this kind of manis later in the Spring, so let me know if a tutorial would be something you'd like to see. :)



And because I'm so eager to get the Spring here already, the other mani today has colors, too.



This is a design I'm sure many of you have seen last year all over the internet, and I think I've even done this before, but only now I had the perfect colors for this.





Sorry about the idiotic shape of the middle finger nail, it broke from the side. :P



That gorgeous nude base color is Ciaté Cookies and Cream, which I got from my advent calendar. I can see this particular color in so many different manicures in the future. ;)



Nothing else to add, I think the pictures speak well for themselves. So, that's all for today, and I try to blog some more in the weekend even though two wonderful friends are visiting us this weekend. I guess the boys will give me that much space, though. I'm not that amazing at video games, after all! ;)
