Simple Holo Nails & Animal Print Rainbow

Hey lovelies!

Happy Friday! ♥

I hope you're all doing fine today - and having fun plans for the weekend. Today me and my fiance had a little dinner & movie date, and we had so much fun. The rest of the night, we're watching TV, playing some video games, and enjoying each other's company. Gotta love free nights.

Today's post is once again all about nails, I have two manicures for you, and I hope you will like them!

Photobucket

The first one is a holo manicure with Make Up Store hologram polish. I must say, I have way too few hologram polishes, but as they are usually only sold on indie polish shops online, it's quite impossible for me to get them. :P Well, maybe later in life.

Photobucket

I thought these were fun with the rhinestones and all. Simple design, yet quite classy and sparkly result.

Photobucket

And here are couple of shots without flash, in the daylight. It shows the true color rather than the holo effect. :)

Photobucket

And the other one is a bit more colorful - you know how I like my colors, right?

Photobucket

Now, I did these because I wanted to practice my gradient, but also because I had this fabulous loose glitter I wanted to test. The result was kinda fun, I think.

Photobucket

I believe I'll be doing more these colorful manicures when Spring comes closer, so if there are some color combos you'd like to see - or if you want a tutorial on gradient nails, let me know.

Photobucket

That's all for now, I'm going to play with my man now, and then get to bed quite early so that we can pack the whole day tomorrow. ;)

Did you like these manicures? What kind of nails are you rocking today?

I hope each and everyone of you is having a fabulous weekend! ♥

Blog ya later,

xoxo

Girly Nail Art

Hey lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

I hope your week is starting off well - I know mine is. This week is still kinda light at school, and the work is that, too, so I will have loads of time to prepare the move. (Sorry for mentioning in every single post, but it takes quite a bit of my time at the moment.)

Today's post is a very quick one, I just wanted to drop by and show you some more nail art by me.

Ready?

Fantastic.

Photobucket

The first one is this vintage type of nail art with little studs, and this was something I had never tried before this manicure. I think I did quite well, considering that.

Photobucket

Photobucket

These photos make me miss my long nails, I had a little accident at work last week which forced me to file them all down quite radically. Not entirely to nubs, but close. But I guess that I should've done that anyway because of the move, so no harm done.

Photobucket

The other one is bit more simple, and I was trying to get better at my striping tape using.

Photobucket

So... pink and bling all the way. Not my most amazing work, but this was super fun to do - and it look quite fun as well, so I thought I should share it anyways.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Glitter was once again impossible to capture on film. If someone knows a trick and has the time to explain to me, please do so. I'm terrible at adjusting my camera... :D (And yes, once I don't have to think about the school stuff, I will learn everything the user manual has to offer. I promise.)

Photobucket

So, what do you think about the manicures? What are you wearing on your nails today? Share your thoughts! ♥

Now I must dash, I have so many, many things to do today!

I hope you'll all have an amazing week! ♥

Blog ya later,

Inspired by Nail Artists

Hey Lovelies! ♥

How are you today? And what are your plans for the weekend?

I'm planning to stay home, take it easy and enjoy the last bit of my break before going to school on Monday. :)

As promised on the previous post, here's another piece of last year's nail art:

Photobucket

This manicure is my take on Instagram nail artist @noemihk's work. She's such an inspiration with her superb nail art skills, so if you're on IG, I strongly recommend you to check her out!

Photobucket

Photobucket

I have so many photos of this mani, because I loved it so, so much. It has it all, girly pink, stylish black, rhinestones and shiny silver - all in one mani, not still being too overboard.

Photobucket

I don't know where you get your inspiration for nail art, but IG is my number one place for inspiration. There are so many super talented girls with accounts full of amazing nail art - and they have fabulous personalities to match. But anyway, this mani was both fun to do and fun to wear, and I would definitely do it again.

And then on to the next one:

Photobucket

Glittery mani with black accent nails. I think this was also inspired by some of the IG girls, but I can't seem to remember by who. Anyway, sadly I didn't have the chance to capture this on film on daylight, so the glitter doesn't look as good as it did in real life.

Photobucket

These pictures make me wanna do turquoise nails with silver sparkle, but definitely with less glitter! :D

Photobucket

What do you think about the manis here? What kind of mani is your latest? ♥

I still have one more post for this week - and it'll be about decorating an apartment. I hope it'll be a nice one for you. ;)

Have a lovely weekend, everyone! ♥

P.S. I finally got some items up to Shop My Closet page! If you like what I wear on my outfit posts, there might be something for you ♥ Go on, check it out!

Leopard Print & Floral Nail Art

Hey lovelies!

Happy 2013 to you all. ♥ How are you today? Did you have a fun NYE?

We had lots of fun, playing video games as usual - and even though I had to work till half past eleven at night, we had time to light up some rockets and party. :D I still need to go through the photos and see if there's anything I can post for you to see.

I must also remind you that I might be posting less than usually on this month (and possibly on next one too) as I have the move, the job, and quite a bit of school stuff to go through. But don't worry, I'm not going away. Just needing to balance my life a bit. I have already started to pack some boxes and have also gone through my Summer clothes, and I seriously think I need to put some items up to the Shop My Closet page very soon.

Today I want to share two manicures from last year - I still have many of these, so I guess that'll mean it's easier for me to keep blogging despite the overly big amount of things I have to do the next few weeks. :D Anyway, let's see some manicures:

Photobucket

First up is a leopard print mani with flakes and matte finish. I was using Aquadelic, Desert Sun and Lush and Luxe by China Glaze.

Photobucket

I'm not a huge fan of matte manicures, but from time to time they're fun to do. I liked the color combination of this mani, as well as the flakes - I definitely need to use them more in manicures this year!

The other mani is something I first did for my mom, but ended up liking it so much I did one for myself, too.

Photobucket

I used United by China Glaze and some freebie nail art stickers I got when I ordered some polishes and other stuff. I don't use stickers on my nail art that much, but they really are the easy way to create fun nails when you're unsure about your skills, don't have a lot of time to paint your nails, or just happen to get lazy with it - but still don't want just have one color on your nails.

Photobucket

And look at that beautiful shine! I absolutely love China Glaze's glitter polishes, they give such a great coverage, and the colors are absolutely amazing. Even though the pictures don't show it very well, this glitter polish has a gorgeous champagne shade to it along the pink.

Photobucket

What do you think about these manicures? What are you wearing on your nails today? ♥

I'm off to work now, but coming up this week is another nail post and some interior decor inspiration.

I hope you're all having a fabulous week!

Blog ya later,

xoxo
