Floral Nails

I was supposed to post this yesterday, but had longer than expected work day and every other things felt like falling apart so I took a breather and didn't finish this post. Until today, that is. So I'm hoping you're ready for some nail art because that's what I got for you today.

And without further ado, let's get into it!

Matte Floral Nails

Finally getting back into photographing my nail designs. Which actually feels so fun because nail art is such a passion for me, like you know if you've been here for a while. Last year hit my creativity a bit, and even though I kept on painting, I haven't shared my art that much. That's something I want to change little by little, and what better time to start than today.

Floral With Layers

Hey lovelies! How are you all today? ♥ I had an awesome weekend with boys - regardless of me losing in almost all games we played, except Trivial Pursuit since I'm a book nerd. Today, I'm heading to hairdresser to get a little something done with my hair, and I'm kinda trying something new this time. I've been thinking about a little change for a little while now and I'm pretty sure it's what I want. After all, it's just hair, and it can be done again soon.

Anyway, here's a post with outfit pics including my current - soon to be old - hairstyle.

Studded White & Stripes With Roses

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been enjoying the start of autumn and the little things in life so much lately, and I really hope you have too. Like mentioned, the autumn really makes me feel alive like never before - which I actually talked about with my cousin yesterday and she felt the same - and I hope that will translate also to my blog and social media content.

Today, we're digging the archives a bit and checking out these nail designs I've failed to post earlier. But now is as good time as ever to post them. I think.

Red With Black & Pink Floral

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ Today marks the last week before my holiday, and I'm so excited because I haven't had a consecutive week off from work in quite the time. Now, I just need to be super efficient this week so that I can go on my trip stress-free and come back home like that as well. Tomorrow, I will be talking more about where we are going, so stay tuned to find out a bit more of my plans!

Today, I really wanted to share two new nail designs with you, so let's get into that:

#31DC2015 Flowers & Delicate Print

Hey loves! How are you? ♥ I want to wish you all a happy new year 2016, and I hope it will bring you everything fantastic. I started mine off with nearest and dearest of friends, and I've probably never had as amazing NYE as I did this time. I'll post some pictures later this week, but today, I'm continuing with some last year's nails I didn't have the chance to post before December. As you may remember, we were going through the 31-day nail art challenge and left off with animal print.

Today, we shall continue that with flowers and delicate print:

Khaki Pants

Hello lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I've been doing quite a bit at home lately, so I've not been too active here on the blog - or on my laptop anyway. I feel very bad about that, as I love writing here, but being on the computer 8 hours everyday at work is so much that I really don't want to spend that much on my laptop at home. Especially this week when we've had such nice weather and all. But haven't forgotten you all, don't worry!

Today, I wanted to share this outfit from the colder days with you. I wore it to work a while back and liked it quite a bit.

Jacket: secondhand Pants: secondhand Shoes: Adidas Floral top: Bershka Bracelets: KappAhl, Gina Tricot, gift from friend Rings: H&M, Gina Tricot, Born Pretty Store Necklace: Gina Tricot

So that's my look for today, a laid back outfit with khaki pants and some floral, topped with some leather to give it some edge. The shoes give it some sporty vibe too, which I liked quite a bit.

What do you guys think about this outfit? Let me know in the comments below!

That's all I have for you today, and tomorrow I will show you my latest nail haul. Now, I will go make some food and spend some time with motorsports (because the summer break in F1 is finally over). I hope you'll all have a super nice weekend, and I'll see you all tomorrow!

Have a fabulous day you all ♥

Tropical vs. Ikat

Hello lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I was meant to post this yesterday but celebrating our wedding kinda had a toll on me. I actually took an hour long nap last night at seven, which I never do since it messes up my schedule. But now it was more than needed. I guess I can't party like I used to anymore without getting some proper sleep on the way. Anyway, while I'm waiting to get all the pictures from people from the wedding, I have lots of other things to post for you. Like today, when we are going to talk about nails.

DSC07940 (Large)

First up is this tropical design, which was strongly inspired by Sam from PackaPunchPolish. I wore this one to zoo (see pics of the trip on the previous post) so I had to have an animal in there.

DSC07958 (Large)

I personally really liked this design, because it was good practice for free hand painting. Obviously I should get acrylic paints to do this kind of things, but that shall be next months to-do. (As I just placed kinda big nail polish order last night... Who is excited to see that?) I think I did kinda good job with the nail polish here though.

DSC07949 (Large)DSC07943 (Large)

I used quite a lot of polishes here, as the picture shows. The polishes were China Glaze White On White, Liquid Leather, Treble Maker, The Grass Is Lime Greener, Red-Y To Rave, Sun-Kissed, Splish Splash, Home Sweet House Music, Glow With The Flow, Surfin' For Boys and In The Lime Light. (at least, but I'm sure I forgot some. I should start writiiing these down when I paint.) I used one dotting tool and a thin nail art brush to do the design.

DSC07951 (Large)DSC07965 (Large)

Next up is this Ikat print design. For this I actually had to custom make a green by mixing yellow and green neon polishes because I didn't have the shade I wanted. Other than that this was basically just technique training.

DSC07999 (Large)

I liked this design quite a bit and wore it for midsummer. I think I will be doing Aztec and Ikat prints quite much in Autumn, because they are fun to wear and they better my hand-coordination when I need to paint a lot of details. My hand painting is not nearly where I want it to be yet, so this should be good for that.

DSC07983 (Large)DSC07976 (Large)

The polishes I used were all by China Glaze: White On White, Liquid Leather, Glow With The Flow and the green is mixture of Daisy Know My Name and Treble Maker if I remember correctly. Like I said, I need to start writing these down.

DSC07989 (Large)

That's all I have for you today, I really hope you enjoyed this post. I would be happy to take in your nail art ideas (no matter how challenging) so that you could see designs and techniques and so on that would be helpful for you. Also, please leave any tutorial requests below as I will try to start filming that kind of things on videos as soon as I can.

What did you think about these nails - and do you have a favorite? Let me know in the comments!

Tomorrow we will have another fun post, but in the meantime, you can follow me on social media, where I post all sorts of stuff that doesn't make it into the blog. Like the #julybeautychallenge I have going on on Instagram, where you can today see what's my favorite new beauty release of the summer. Any guesses? Anyway, I will see you all tomorrow.

Have a fabulous week

Floral Skorts

Hello lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

Today starts off our wedding week, and I couldn't be more excited. Luckily there are not many things to do before the main event, I only need to go to the hairdresser on Wednesday and do my nails and that basically it. Of course I should practice hair and makeup too but we'll see. I might just wing it. You can see outtakes on that in social media later on.

Today, I wanted to share this little girly look with you. I wore this to work a while back as I wanted to wear something girly but somewhat professional.

DSC07685 (Large)DSC07673 (Large)DSC07705 (Large)DSC07677 (Large)DSC07712 (Large)DSC07671 (Large)

Skorts: secondhand Blazer: H&M Top: H&M Sneakers: PUMA Belt: secondhand Necklace: H&M Choker: Gina Tricot Bangles: Nelly.com Cross bracelet: Gina Tricot Rings: H&M, Born Pretty Store

So there, something on me that isn't tomboy, doesn't have skulls in it, and isn't black/grey. Isn't that something? This was totally appropriate to share as I'm having one of the most girly weeks of my life. I will probably wear similar things again to work, but in my personal life I will most likely still prefer my rocker style.

What do you guys think about this look? Let me know in the comments below!

Now, I need to head to other things, today I need to scrub my skin properly for the tan I will be having for the wedding. I know it may sound like fake and silly to some, but my dress is the kind of color that it really needs some tan with it. You can follow my last minute preps on social media, where I will be sharing all sorts of things along the way this week. See you there!

Have a fantastic week ♥

Florals & Blazer ♥

Hey everyone!

How are you today? ♥

I'm currently trying to get a marketing task done while also working on 3 other things. So what better time to take a minute to write a blog post? Not really, but I needed a break from the school stuff and writing felt like a good idea. I apologize for having such a long while between posts, but try to be patient with me for three weeks or so. After that, I will be focusing on my internship, which leaves my evenings and weekends free because I don't have to take any of the work home with me. So even though I will not be having a summer vacation, I will be more relaxed than at the moment.

Today, I wanted to share an outfit post from few weeks back. I was trying to create a sort of transition look from winter to spring.

Jeggings: secondhand Blazer: H&M Top: Bershka Boots: SpiritStore Necklace: gift from a friend

So I was for once actually dressing in sort of a girly way and not in all black or grey. (Even if there's still quite a lot of both there.) I liked wearing the floral top with the blazer, as their styles are so different that it actually creates some contrast there. I tried to make the look even more girly with the adorable necklace my friend got me a while back. And do you notice how my nails kinda match the look?

What do you guys think about this look? Let me know in the comments below! ♥

Now, I will go and finish my tasks so that I can happily go dining with my dad and boyfriend tonight. I totally need a relaxing meal to ease my mind about the school stress. That or exercise, and I think I will save the exercising for tomorrow. (If you are interested in hearing about my workout routine, let me know so I can start planning a post for that!) Anyway, I will be back pretty soon as I have my weekend wide open and actually have the time and energy to write.

Have a fabulous day ♥

Sunny Day ♥

Hello darlings!

Happy International Women's Day ♥

I've had such a wonderful weekend with my fiance and it finally starts to feel like spring here! I'm so excited to get warmer weather and better photo shoot chances, as it's been a bit of a struggle to get outfit pics taken due everything. And for the warmer day it's pretty suitable to post these sunny pictures we got to take last month.

Mixing some prints here with the skulls and floral skirt, and I really liked the result. I've been seriously obsessed with that scarf lately, so don't mind if you see that quite a bit in my outfits this spring. I can see it fitting in perfectly with leather jackets, which I can't wait to wear soon! Anyone else excited for spring?

What do you guys think about this look? Let me know in the comments below!

For once, I have done all the school things for tomorrow, so I can actually focus on relaxing for the rest of the night. I will do my nails for the start of the week and catch up with Pretty Little Liars so that I don't get big spoilers every time I open my Twitter. Talk to you again soon though!

Have a lovely day ♥

Rose Nails ♥

Hello my darlings!

How are you all today? ♥

I've been busy with school until four, and after that with all the stuff at home. I have no idea where all the time went. And I should read for tomorrow's exam - I haven't even started, yikes. And to top it all, I need to correct one official paperwork for our study. All fun and games, huh? Honestly, I couldn't be more happy to start weekend tomorrow.

Anyway, just to take my mind off the stressful things, I decided to blog about these nails for you.

 photo DSC02647Large.jpg

Florals, matte black, polka dots, stripes. These nails have a lot going on, but to me, that still isn't too much. I gotta say, I really, really loved this mani a lot.

 photo DSC02659Large.jpg photo DSC02676Large.jpg

The colors I used were Essie Licorice, China Glaze White On White, China Glaze At Vase Value, China Glaze Feel The Breeze, China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer and China Glaze Dune Our Thing. The studs are from Born Pretty Store, and the patterns were painted with thin nail art brushes and dotting tools.

 photo DSC02668Large.jpg

I topped the design with matte top coat, because I felt it fit the theme better than glossy one. I used my Born Pretty Store top coat.

 photo DSC02671Large.jpg

And there you go, a mix and match mani with all sorts of girly stuff. I loved this one, but how about you?

Let me know what you think in the comments below ♥

Now, I need to try and study for next morning's exam, I have no idea whether I'm going to pass or not since the subject feels pretty foreign, but I'm sure a bit of refreshing and skipping the class before exam will totally do the trick. Right?

But I'll get back to you tomorrow, no matter how the exam goes. So talk to you then.

Love you!

Floral vs. Hearty ♥

Hey lovelies!

How are you all? ♥

I'm having such a long day behind, and another one ahead after a good night's sleep, so today's post will be pretty quick. I simply wanna share a couple of manicures and then I'll head to bed, finally.

So, here we go:

 photo DSC01212Large.jpg

This floral set is inspired by the Bershka dress seen in the previous post. I really wanted to do something girly and practice a bit my painting skills when it comes to flowers.

 photo DSC01216Large.jpg photo DSC01219Large.jpg photo DSC01223Large.jpg

So yes, these are handpainted, not wraps or stickers or anything. I don't remember what colors exactly I used, but most of them were China Glaze as usual, and I covered the design with a matte top coat because to me, that was the best finish for this.

 photo DSC01229Large.jpg photo DSC01328Large.jpg

Second, I have this very pink set of heart nails. I really personally love making pictures with dots, and that is a skill I plan on perfecting within the next 12 months or so. We'll see if that actually happens.

 photo DSC01332Large.jpg photo DSC01335Large.jpg photo DSC01339Large.jpg

The polishes I used for this design are China Glaze Float On, White On White, Escaping Reality, Spring In My Step and Feel the Breeze. The rhinestones are from Born Pretty Store.

 photo DSC01342Large.jpg

So, that's all I have for you today.

Let me know what you think about these designs in the comments below! Do you prefer either one and would you like to see some tutorials?

Tomorrow, I won't be posting anything as I will have a 9-hour school day and won't even look at the laptop after that - surely you understand - but if everything goes like I've planned, I will be posting new stuff on Thursday again ♥

Have a fabulous day!

Let's be friends in IG!
