How are you all this Wednesday? ♥
I'm enjoying my day in the clean apartment, washing laundry, watching some Gossip Girl - and of course blogging. We spent the whole weekend, as mentioned in the previous post, with my parents, so if you've felt I've been MIA lately, that's the reason. This weekend will be a bit different as I'll be spending it once again more or less with the boys - and where my boys are, there's always some action. :)
Today's post is a bit longer than usually, but I hope you're okay with it. I won't make a habit of this long posts. Unless you would like that, of course. :D
You know how I've been saying that my fiance spoils me? Case in point is this lovely lunch we had a couple of weeks ago (I'm sorry my pictures come a bit behind, but that keeps my blog rolling without long breaks... So it's better this way, right?) in a lovely French-ish restaurant. He just insisted on buying me a lunch, and we decided to try a place we hadn't been in yet.
Here's a few shots from our lunch that day:
Doesn't the food look amazing? I loved it so, so much. Especially the crème brûlée. It's my weakness. :D And then he has the guts to say he doesn't have the money to treat me like a princess... I think he does, though. ♥
I think I mentioned our trip to Helsinki a while ago? I didn't take really loads of photos there - still photo shy, which is silly. But what I have from there is these pictures of an outfit I for shopping. It's very casual, but I hope you like it anyways. ;)

So the leopard print is slowly sneaking from my manicures into my wardrobe... Oops. Obsessed much? :D Anyway, this outfit was great for shopping, as it is very casual and easygoing, and comfortable for every Summer weather. It actually started raining while we were taking the pictures, though it doesn't really show on the pictures. I'm still completely in love with layering the bracelets/bangles, and I believe that's something that'll never quite go away. :D Maybe it shouldn't, though.
How do you like my shopping outfit? Do you have any obsession comparable to the leopard one of mine?
Today, if you like my manicures, you'll be glad about this post. I have two manicures for you! Yay!
Manicures of the day
The first manicure is my attempt to create a matte mani with glossy tips. It didn't go quite as I planned, but that might be because my black polish had dried out a bit - which reminds me, I gotta buy a new one for the manicure challenge. ;) I also apologize for the bad pictures, I was having a hard time shooting this one at all.
The second one, on the other hand, is one of my favorite manicures ever. Being a French mani with mint and leopard print, what else could it be than fabulous? See for yourselves!
The girls at work totally loved this manicure, which made me very happy because I had never before drawn leopard print myself - I always use the Konad stamping set. But it wasn't an option for this mani, so...
What do you think about the two manicures here? Like them?
I'm happy to tell you, that with the next post, you'll be getting into my 31-day manicure challenge action. ;) I've posted all but one to IG already, but for the ones not having the app, you'll see them here starting from the day after tomorrow. :) I hope I can inspire you with the manicures coming up!
Now, I need to fix my face for work and get a few other things done - like eating.
I hope you'll have a lovely week! ♥
Blog ya later,
xoxo
Johanna
P.S. I just wrote a little post to the Made by Me site, featuring a pair of glammed up sneakers... Go see it, now! ;)
Oh my god ! You're a manicure genius ! The first one makes me think to the french painter Pierre Soulages, who only use black in his paintings.

DeleteJohanna, you have the best fiancee! When you have a man that can cook, you have a really good man. Not only can he cook good, but the presentation of it is amazing. I thought you two were in a restaurant. So kudos to him! Animal print is still very in. I'm seeing lots of it for Fall again! So you're right on point. Thanks for your kind comments. The weather has been so violent lately.
