Hey babes!
How are you all? ♥ Have you had a great weekend?
I have. It's included lots of sports and good food as usual, but also a little school work. On Friday, we went to a hockey game - my own team wasn't playing, but my fiance's one was, and they won which was cool. The atmosphere was kind of flat, but I enjoyed every minute of it. There's nothing like watching sports live, hearing the crowd cheering, whistling, clapping their hands.... It's amazing.
Do you enjoy watching sports live?
Besides hockey, I've also watched Formula 1 (US GP, it was long time, no see - and I was so glad to see you on again!). I know there are some of you who are as passionate about F1 as I am, and I hope you enjoyed the US Grand Prix as well. If anyone happened to be there watching the event live, please let me know if it was fun. I'm considering attending within a couple of years and want to know if it's worth it. ;)
Today's photos feature a vehicle of one sort as well - not too pretty one, but we thought it would make a fun background. The outfit was a casual one I wore for a car ride a while back, and it features many things I've been loving to wear this Autumn: Fur, boots, and chunky knit.
Faux fur waistcoat: Only
Knit: Gina Tricot (seen also here)
Skinny jeans: Cubus
Boots: Boohoo.com
Handbag: Mango
Bracelets: Nelly.com
Necklace: SpiritStore
Earrings: gift from my mom
Oh how I miss the days I didn't need to throw on a jacket when getting outside... It's too cold for that now. Anyway, in this look I was combining kinda massive top with slim bottom, and putting it all together with the knee-high boots. Add in little gold accessories, and the look is complete.
I don't know if I have mentioned this enough, but I totally love boots. Especially flat boots. I think they're so convenient for so many outfits, and you can almost wear them all year long. This particular pair was such a great find from Boohoo, I was shopping everything but these, but I am happy I bought them. They make the shopping ban so much easier. ;)
But, what do you think about this look? And, do you use these "ugly" scenes to spice up your outfit photos?
Also, there's a new recipe on the food page:
Chocolate Mint Cupcakes, for which you can get the recipe here!
Now, I'm off to bed so I can get myself up early in the morning (meaning: so I wake up early enough to go for a little run before school). I hope you will all have a nice and blessed start for your week!
Blog ya later,
xoxo
Johanna

Deletea) I watched F1 live in Singapore a few years ago and while I normally don't love sports (ew what a girl am I), the feel was absolutely electric.
ReplyDeleteb) I have a sweater just like that; love how you've done it with the fur, two cheers for two layers of warmth!

Wow, I've been wanting to see Singapore GP live for quite some time, that must have been amazing! ♥ And thank you, it's critical to wear warm layers now, so one doesn't catch a cold in here ;) ♥
