This year, I'm going back to my blogging roots a bit, because what made me start blogging originally was wanting to share my outfits and some thoughts along them. And, one of the blogs I used to love a ton back in the day was J's Everyday Fashion.  She was one of the first ones I followed, and I feel like the collages she did with different looks with one item way back when were a thing that inspired me to start blogging as well. What I'm trying to accomplish with this series is mostly personal. I'm encouraging myself to play with my items more and show myself I actually need so much less than I still have. This series should spark my styling creativity, and inspire me to declutter the closet even more so that I wouldn't have too many doubles of things. For you, I hope this series tells that sometimes the place to shop is actually your own closet, and that even though media tells you that you need to buy the latest trends and all the new clothes to be happy and look good, that's really not the case.

How are you today? ♥

I'm so excited because we're traveling again this weekend, and I get to have a fun weekend with the boys playing Beerlympics (meaning beer olympics, which is a concept where we play bunch of games - any games - and compete for a prize). I've never won any of these so far, and I'm feeling this time will be no different. But it will be a lot of fun and I've even made a little mix of music for us to listen to while driving there.

Now, I just need to pack today, which is the most stressful part. I have no idea what to wear and I don't trust the weather report at all. Oh well. I guess I'll figure out something.

Anyway, today I wanted to share this simple little outfit I wore to work the other day:

Pretty simple look, and I was feeling like trying something different so I wore my bright blue jeans and build the look around them. I kinda feel like I should also get a bright pink or green pair. I don't know why. I guess they'd be fun to wear with simple neutral tops. I made the look little more laid back with the sport shoes. I don't know if I have remembered to mention in a long while, but I absolutely love sneakers and I think they're the best kind of shoes there is. I'm so, so happy they seem to be trending, too - although I would wear them nevertheless.

And as we're talking about posting, I will be bringing back the Nail Art 101, which I started a long time ago with one post, and failed to deliver after that. However, now that I always get so many nail questions from my friends in real life, I figured I should share my knowledge here as well. You can send me suggestions on topics to cover in the series, and I will try to make something out of them. I know I'm not a nail guru, but I play with them so much I know a thing or two.

I'm still being sick - and probably infected the guys as well (sorry dudes), but at least we had a super fun weekend with hockey and video games. I've been trying to get rid of this stupid cold for half a week now, and it's not looking too good, but we'll see.

Another one of my simple looks. Not really much to say about this, just that it was comfy to wear and kept me warm enough. The lack of color was compensated with the use of a pretty scarf, which hopefully brought some originality to the outfit.

How are you today? ♥

I'm just trying to pack everything for the weekend trip we're starting late tonight. We decided to drive in the night to avoid all the traffic and such, and this way, we get to spend more time in the cabin. Since I need to actually get to packing, I'll cut the blabber pretty short this time, and just get into the outfit I wanna share with you.



It's just a simple little number I put together for a bit of a lazy day - when I couldn't even bother with my hair, lol. I really did like this one though, it fit the casual day perfectly.

How are you all? ♥

I can't believe I haven't been writing here after Friday - don't worry, I'm not going to stop blogging or anything, I've just been busy. Like today, when I had doctor's appointment, then had to re-install our TV set and then in the afternoon, I had to take our car to the tire shop to get the summer tires in. And that's just today. Such crazy schedules. I'm actually now just about to hit the road again to go to my work shift - in 15 minutes, to be exact - so I seem to have such limited time for blogging world. Which is too bad because I truly miss it.

However, the day after tomorrow is luckily a day off, so I can finally go through the Easter pics and post them here. Now, as for today, I simply wanted to show you this outfit I wore a while back, and thought it'd be a nice thing to share here. So, without further blabbering, here we go:

A simple outfit with little hints of mint to it to make it not so boring. I'm once again overusing my fave bag here, which actually needs to be fixed as I broke it for the second time. Yeah, you heard me, I've already fixed it once because I wear it so, so much.

Hey babes!

How are you all? Did you have a great weekend? ♥

I've been enjoying the last bits of my vacation, of course I still have tomorrow, but I pretty much need tomorrow to get the house ready for the normal routine. I hope getting back to work won't mess up my sleeping rhythm that I just got in place, as I'm very happy with waking up earlyish and getting in bed at sensible hour. Though I guess regular exercise will help a lot.

Today, I really wanted to share another outfit with you. If the previous one was kinda very girly, this one certainly is more typical me. Regardless of my medium long blonde locks and way too long nails, I'm such a tomboy with my clothing. And if I get the chance, I always make the look as rock'n'roll as I possibly can.



I really don't know what to say about this look, I just felt like wearing something simple and comfy and I wanted to give it some more street style vibe. So I figured adding the scarf, necklace and sunnies, the whole outfit would actually seem like it's put together.







I've been loving these sunglasses in both black and pink so, so much. I can actually promise you you'll be seeing these way too often this summer.

I'm so excited the weather makes the nature get all ready to spring and summer, so we can soon go around on prettier locations than this half-dead front yard (though this will be gorgeous too when the plants get alive). I have so, so many outfit plans I really want to get photographed, so I'm sure you'll enjoy reading the posts later on this spring.

Now, I gotta go catch up with couple of TV shows and get some snack before bed. It's again a serious training day tomorrow so I need my food and rest. It's taking me forever....

How are you all today?

I've been trying to commit to my closet cleanup project for the past couple of days, so sitting on my laptop hasn't really been an option for me. Too bad in a way, because I've had so many blogging ideas on my mind. Well, luckily I've written them down so I can do them later on. ;)

Wanna know how my project is doing? Well, so far it's going smoothly, yesterday was mostly planning and doing laundry - a.k.a. prepping and today I went through all my tops (you know, like tees, tank tops, spaghetti straps and so on) and actually find couple of things that had to go. Also, as I'm typing, I'm trying to get some life into old white tops with bleaching them gently. I hope that'll go somewhat well. I think I might just go through my knits, hoodies and other long-sleevd items before bed, so I could start with the jeans tomorrow.

Enough rambling about my clothing problems? Alrighty.

This simple spring look is something I wore two weeks ago when our parents were visiting, and I needed some cute and comfy to relax in. I really wanted a clear touch of spring into the look, so I went pretty nude with the colors and chose lighter materials.

I personally really enjoyed wearing this look, maybe because it's quite a bit more feminine than the stuff I usually wear. I can't wait to wear that chiffon dress more or less on it's own, but for the time being it's a bit too cold for that. Also, I love that I can finally start living in my leather jackets again, they are seriously my go-to pieces which I couldn't go without.

How was your weekend? ♥

Mine flew by so fast, but luckily I'm now on vacation from work so it's not quite yet time for work tomorrow. Today I actually did a little Spring makeover in our kitchen, which I will be talking about more tomorrow, and I'm planning on doing a little tidy-up around the house - like decluttering, reorganizing and such. Also, I have been training more regularly lately to sooth down my anxiety and to get more fit, and that is another thing I will be doing a post about later on, because it's been super effective so far.

However today I just wanted to share this outfit really quickly with you all.



This is yet another pretty typical look for me with booties, jeans and leather in it. The special part this time are the animal prints and pink details.



There's actually no snow here anymore, but these pics were taken like two weeks ago when nights were still colder.
