Heya lovelies!
How are you all? ♥
Last night we finally got back from our trip to Helsinki, and the rush doesn't stop there. Today, we need to get ready to go to Pori, where were going to hang out with friends, see a hockey game, and have fun. But before telling more about that, I'll share with you first of the two Helsinki posts.
We headed to Helsinki right after my work shift on Tuesday, and were there around midnight. After a good night's sleep, we went to the center of the city to hit the shops and get some lunch.
Waiting the train in my quite new Firmoo glasses - more about them in a separate post!
For lunch, we went to Memphis, where the food is absolutely delicious. This is one of the restaurants I absolutely love, and I'm a bit bummed I couldn't fit a dessert in my stomach there.
My fiance ordered chicken with bacon and dipping strip potatoes - if you ever visit Finland and go to Memphis, those potatoes are totally worth trying, they're so amazing!
I decided on a salad, as I usually do for lunch. This one was Fruit Bomb salad with chicken and garlic sauce, and it was fantastic! I loved the mix of practically everything in the salad, and the union of the chicken fillets and the garlic sauce was simply divine.
After some more shopping, we headed to Fazer coffee shop for ice tea and cake. Fazer is one of the most popular chocolate brands in Finland (and they have a bakery with both sweet and savory pastries as well), so as you can imagine, one would have high hopes for the place. The products were good, but I have to say I've liked many others so much more. But at least we have tried the place at least once, right?
The outfit for the day was pretty simple, as it had to be something that I would be comfortable in when shopping the whole day, but I also wanted it to be somewhat stylish. And I finally dug out my leather jacket as for me, Spring is finally starting.
Leather jacket: H&M Skull scarf: Gina Tricot Tights: H&M Boots: KooKenkä Bag: Mango Striped top: H&M Skull necklace: Gina Tricot Stone bracelet: KappAhl Charm bracelet: gift from my fiance
In the evening, we grabbed along my fiance's uncle - in whose place we were staying while visiting Helsinki - and went to have some dinner in a restaurant called Britannia. The place looks like a British pub on the inside, and the food there is absolutely delicious. We like to dine there every time we visit Helsinki, just because the place itself feels so unique.
My fiance had these HUGE meal, which includes red meat, chicken, egg, pineapple, onion rings, cheddar.... And I don't even know what else. I could never ever down a meal that big, but he sure didn't have a problem with that.
I, on the other hand, had this tasty garlic burger, which was totally amazing! I know I must have been such a fancy company after eating so much garlic that day, but thank God for breath mints, right? :D Anyway, after this we headed back to the apartment, and hung out watching TV for the rest of the night.
For those who like to know what I bought, see the second part of the Helsinki trip. ;)
Now, I have to go to get ready for our next trip (who knew a break from school would be this busy??). I'll be having my camera - and my phone - with me as much as I can, so hopefully there will be loads of fun material for you. I also have some fun collabs coming up, but more on those later. ;)
I hope you'll all have a fun weekend! ♥
Blog ya later,
xoxo

Haha, well, I don't think spring when I see snow, either, but it was warmer than it had been in months, and it smelled like spring for a couple of days. Since then, it's been more winter-like ;D
