Hey lovelies!
TGIF, right? ;)
I hope everyone's doing okay - I am, despite some personal issues I faced today, but hey, life goes on, doesn't it?
So, yesterday I received my April LivBox, and I came here to share it with you as usual. ;) My friends in Finland, if you still haven't opened yours, and don't want to be spoiled about it, please turn away from this post! :D
So, the box itself was pretty similar as before, black box with blue ribbon - nothing special.
There was a note, telling the theme of the box, as well as what it contains. It sounded - well, maybe not as amazing as I'd hoped, but kinda fun anyways.
So, let's rip the paper and see what this baby has eaten!
Okay, so, I've learned to be happy with everything I get - especially when I get it cheaper than I really should - but this seemed a bit disappointing at first. (Now, seriously, I don't wanna sound like a bitch or anything, I just think I maybe got my hopes too up.)
Though, before judging this more, let's take a closer look of the products:
Avène Thermal Spring Water - This sure sounded interesting, when taking a closer look, and I actually tested it the same night. It really helps to moisturize the skin, and I'm positive I will use this all - and maybe even buy it when the old one runs out. It doesn't really smell like anything, which is a huge plus, too.
Simple Kind to Eyes Eye Make-up Remover Pads - Another one that I already tried out. Pretty nice, but then again I think baby wipes do as well. But big thumbs up for this getting to me right before I ran out of baby wipes! :D
Paese Eye Shadow Trio - A brand I had never heard of, so I'm intrigued to try this. The only thing is that with my luck, I got shades that don't compliment me too well. But we'll see, maybe I can get along with it.
Clinique High Impact Mascara - Now this I'm pretty excited about, I've heard so many good things about Clinique as a brand so I'm sure this won't be a huge disappointment. ;) I'll try to remember to give you a little update as I try it!
So, this was my April LivBox, you can found the previous two I've received here and here.
But, what do you guys think about the products? Has anyone tried out any of these? ♥
Now, I'm off to play with my fiance, but stay tuned for more posts this weekend!
Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
Blog ya later,
xoxo

Thanks, I'm actually following you there already ;) ♥
DeleteThese boxes are definitely hit or miss. Love Simple make up wipes though. They work so well.
ReplyDeleteI think so too, though actually, the cleansing products are quite nice - and the mascara works well for me too. :) So I kinda let my prejudice get the best of me :D ♥
DeleteThese kind of boxes can go either way. Either you'll be happy or you won't. It goes up and down throughout the year. HaHa I prefer saving my money and buying something I would like to try instead of someone selecting it for me. Glad you liked some things.
ReplyDeleteYep, that's true! I try to be open to new things, but many times with beauty products I stick to the old ones, and never try out new stuff, so this concept is pretty welcome for me :D
