Witchy Winter Photoshoot

One of the core topics in this blog has always been my style, and if you scroll through the old posts you can see it has evolved quite a bit over the years until me finally finding the darker, rock vibed style and more or less staying in that lane for quite a while now. I would love to post more style content, but quite honestly I don’t have a photographer to take my pics so that brings a challenge. Although, I could do the remote control route with my phone, and then try my best to up the quality in editing (the phone remote doesn’t support taking RAW format, so that takes a toll on the quality sometimes).

Today’s outfit photos, however, are from a shoot I did with my mom as a photographer. She really knows how to work the camera, and made my witchy picture dreams come true. Below you’ll see some of my favorite photos from the shoot, as well as few new additions to my closet.

The dress in this post was graciously gifted to me by Fantasmagoria, but all the opinions are 100% my own.

Support Sunday: Unicorn Princess Markie (Alia Tempora)

Today is my great pleasure to continue my Support Sunday series by talking about a woman who is not only an inspiration to me, but also I would dare to say we're friends. At least that's how it feels whenever we talk together. The woman in question is the lead singer of Alia Tempora, Markéta Morávková - or as we fans call her, Markie.

DIY T-shirt Dress

A while back Amaranthe opened their Europe-wide merch store, and naturally I had to go and place an order. The thing was though, that the shirt I wanted only had men's XL sizes left then. But, as I have my crafting background, I figured I could buy the tee and just craft it into something that fits. And I feel it makes a cool little blog post as well.

Blogoween: Elize Ryd for a day + HELIX by Amaranthe is out now!

Fun story: When I originally planned to do this look, it was purely for the fangirling and love for Elize. While I am a hardcore fan of Amaranthe and they are my ride or die band, I don't have any more inside knowledge about anything the band does unless it's officially announced in socials. But, I had in early August planned this post for the 19th of October, and then 10th 0f August rolled around and the band announced their new album Helix being released on the same day. I immediately got chills and knew this was more or less meant to be. Also I'll sneak in an album first impression and a link to the music video of "365" from the same album in case you haven't seen it before. Another cool coincidence from that day was the said music video launching the minute my summer holiday started AND they announced gigs in Finland.

Long story short, Elize and the whole Amaranthe band just know how to rock my world constantly.

Rocking Plaid

Friday. Who else is glad it's weekend again? I sure am, and I'm happy to get to spend some time with my boyfriend's family - especially his sister, who is visiting us for tonight and tomorrow. As a person who doesn't have siblings, I value having other relatives whether they're mine or my boyfriend's.We have some nice casual plans for the day and I'm positive we'll have such a good time.

Also a thing I'm happy about today is posting another outfit post.
