Casually Saturday (inspired by Leia)

Hiya, here comes another outfit post. I surprised myself by actually dressing up on weekend when I didn't even have anything unusual to go to. I mean, it's not really an occasion to look fancy when you just go to buy some food, is it? :D (for me, it is not.) But I was really inspired by Leia the other day, when she posted her Gray Day feature. I remembered that I had actually bought grey stockings a little while ago, but never really worn them. So I built an outfit around them. But still, can't thank Leia enough for inspiring me to do this post! That being said, I hope everyone who reads this would go and check her blog, maybe she'll inspire you too. :)

Then, let's see the outfit:

Only two pictures today, I felt that no more was needed. (A/N: notice the smart face covering... :D) This time I thought I could go through this piece by piece, more work for me, but I don't mind. ;)

Photobucket

Playsuit; Mango. Loved this the instant I saw this, but wasn't quite sure how to wear this. Until today, that is. Hopefully I figure out to wear this with some colourful accessories later on, this time it was so... Grey.

Photobucket

Corset top; H&M. This one is too old to even mention, but as it still fits, I don't see any problem with wearing it. At least underneath something, like this time.

Photobucket

Tights; Pieces (Only). Something I found when hanging out in the city with a friend, not really needed them, but they were on sale and to my eye, adorable.

Photobucket

Leather jacket (cropped); VILA. I've had this one for years, and have never grown tired of it. One of my favourite pieces ever (this far, at least). It is genuine leather, so I think that if I just stay this size, we'll have lots of happy years together with this baby. ;)

Photobucket

Shoes; Bullboxer (SpiritStore). Maybe not as feminine as spiky heels might be, but these are definitely more me. I love wedges, because for me, they're so much more easier to walk with. (And I don't wanna take the risk of actually ruining my feet at this age walking with shoes that make my feet ache after ten steps.) Not that there's anything wrong with heels, it looks so good on people. I'm just a bit unlucky and my feet start to scream if I wear wrong kind of shoes...

Photobucket

Wool cap; made by myself. Yes, I knit and I'm extremely proud of it. The blog isn't called what it's called for nothing. ;) I just wish I'll have more time in my hands so that I could show more clothes etc. made by me. (I need the time to make them, that's what I mean.)

Photobucket

Bangle; Pieces (Only). I have really learned to love big bangles, and this one has a nice message on it too. (Elements of love)

Photobucket

Bow necklace; Seppälä. Bows are just so incredibly adorable. I could have one in every outfit. (Though maybe it's good that I don't.)

So, that's what I wore on this Saturday. I personally liked the outfit, so maybe you will too. I hope I get a chance to post something tomorrow, but won't make any promises since I'm sweating about the school so much already... Oh, and by the way, the fabric you can see on the background of the close-up shots, is something I've decided to make leggings out of. I'm curious to see how that will turn out. :D

Guess that's all for now, blog ya later, beauties!

xoxo

  1. Why not dress up every day, after all we dress for ourselves, and a bit for our friend of the world to enjoy.
    You look lovely in grey.

  2. That's a great point you're making there ;) usually, that's how I see it too, but on weekends I tend to get lazy and just put on something easy :) (that means top and jeans and very little make-up)
