Hello my loves! How are you? ♥ I'm currently catching up on Vampire Diaries and sipping my green tea as well as typing this post. I'm so excited for all sorts of blogging things I have lined up for you in the near future, and I hope you'll enjoy them a lot too. Now that  finally got out of my outfit post slump, and there's actually enough light for taking photos after work. I've also planned outfits for a month so we should be covered with the style part of the blog for a good while.

Now, today I'm sharing this layered look with you. I noticed I wore the whole grey spectrum from white to black here, and I actually really, really liked it.

Winter Gear

Hey lovelies! How are you? ♥ This has taken way too long because everything that has been up lately, but I finally have this year's first outfit post for you. Today, I'll show you how I have been bundling up these crazy cold days we've had here in Finland quite a bit lately. In other words, see how my true winter gear looks like!

My Nail Stash: Greys

Hey lovelies! How has your week started? I surprised myself yesterday by not being on a computer at all, but then got up a bit earlier today to write this little intro here and schedule this one to a humane hour of the day. (And didn't publlish it before 7 when I was writing this.) Today I wanted to share another Nail Stash post. The point of these posts is to give you a chance to see some the different colors there are out there, and to scare myself out of buying new ones. (Which so far isn't so successful, oops.)

But let's get started with it:

DSC08989 (Large)
From left to right, all by China Glaze:

Razzle Me, Dazzle Me is a part of Glitz, Bitz 'n Pieces collection, and although it's supposed to be light pink and black, the pink is so pale I totally sort this to greys. And yes, I will be a bit irrational with my sorting since I try to sort the glitter ones under the colors as well.

Glitz N Pieces is a sister to the first one, and instead of pink, it has silver. What I didn't mention in the first one is that these polishes have different sizes of hex glitter and some bar glitter in them. It's a cool combo for glitter sandwiches and for topping solid colors as well.

Lorelei's Tiara a beautiful silver glitter polish with some light blue glitters in it. This one would be perfect for some winter/Frozen inspired manis. There's so much fine glitter that you can actually make it opaque with couple of coats. Which I love in a glitter polish.

Some Like It Haute is dark grey glitter mix with some holo silver glitters in it. Like the previous one, this also makes an opaque finish alone - although this as well needs the couple coats to not show the nail through.

Grey ♥

Hi everyone!

How are you all? ♥

I can't believe I haven't been writing here after Friday - don't worry, I'm not going to stop blogging or anything, I've just been busy. Like today, when I had doctor's appointment, then had to re-install our TV set and then in the afternoon, I had to take our car to the tire shop to get the summer tires in. And that's just today. Such crazy schedules. I'm actually now just about to hit the road again to go to my work shift - in 15 minutes, to be exact - so I seem to have such limited time for blogging world. Which is too bad because I truly miss it.

However, the day after tomorrow is luckily a day off, so I can finally go through the Easter pics and post them here. Now, as for today, I simply wanted to show you this outfit I wore a while back, and thought it'd be a nice thing to share here. So, without further blabbering, here we go:

A simple outfit with little hints of mint to it to make it not so boring. I'm once again overusing my fave bag here, which actually needs to be fixed as I broke it for the second time. Yeah, you heard me, I've already fixed it once because I wear it so, so much.

Jeans: Gina Tricot Jacket: H&M Knit: Mango Scarf: gift from dad Sneakers: Boohoo Earrings: Gina Tricot Rings: Nelly.com, H&M, Born Pretty Store

So, that kind of a look this time. I hope you liked this one, and I hope I'll have time to blog more tomorrow. But now, I must dash so I won't be late for work!

Please let me know what you think about this look in the comments below!

Have a fabulous day ♥

Comfort Zone ♥

Hey babes!

How are you all? ♥

I've been meaning to post this for many days now, but due to this thing called my unexpected life, I just didn't even my computer for few days.

Today, however, I just have few minutes before heading to work, so let's see this outfit out, shall we:

Like the title suggests, this is all about my comfort zone, a.k.a. casual pieces in shades of black and gray. Everything about this look is pure love to me, and I'm so happy it starts to be warm enough for leather jackets out there!

So, a very simple look, totally casual and easy to wear, and all the elements are so comfy to me - on many levels. Like I've mentioned before, this kind of looks are my go-to outfits. Not very girly, but that's me.

What are your go-to looks like? And what do you think about mine? Let me know in the comments! ♥

Now, I must dash. But tomorrow, I will have another fun post for you for sure. ;)

Have a fabulous day! ♥

Spikes vs. Stripes

Heya lovelies!

How are you all? ♥

It's getting super close to the weekend, which is very exciting, as we will be receiving guests from another town for a couple of days. We will be having nice adventures and I might just give myself a permission to leave my camera home and just take some random shots with my phone. I don't know.

But however, before weekend I still have this and one other post for you, so let's get that started, shall we?

Yet again, I have some nail art for you to see. (And if you rather see outfit post, just wait for tomorrow!)

First up, a mix and match mani with mint, gold and leopard print, which I loved so, so much.

I totally filled these nails with spikes, studs and such. I gotta admit, it was a lot of work but I think it was totally worth it.

The nail polishes used here were China Glaze For Audrey, China Glaze Kalahari Kiss, Essie Licorice and MUA Cosmetics Mud Pie. The studs, spikes, gold pearls and black rhinestones are from Born Pretty Store, and the gold striping tape is probably from some Finnish nail art site but it's been forever since I purchased it that I don't really remember. But you can get that from Born Pretty Store or any other nail art site.

Remember, if you go and order from Born Pretty Store, you can freely use the discount code JVNT10
to get a 10% off your purchase at the checkout. (And no, I'm not getting money for mentioning that, they were just nice to give this code while collaborating with me.)

The next one is not as colorful, but yet pretty. Lots of glitter and stripes, so this one is totally me (like the last one wasn't, haha).

I was figuring that pink roses look nice with grey/silver, so that's how these were created.

The polishes used were Ciaté Vintage, China Glaze Gossip Over Gimlets, Sally Hansen Sweetie Pie, pink and white nail art paints by Kiss, L'Oréal Color Riche Green Couture, and China Glaze Some Like It Haute. The matte top coat is Born Pretty Super Matte. The star studs and little rhinestones are from Born Pretty Store. I created the stripes with Nail Vinyls, which I will be talking about more when I've tried all the different ones I ordered. ;)

So that's all I have for you today, tomorrow, I'll be posting an outfit post (and hopefully will have more those now that the spring is starting to inspire me better). Hopefully you all liked this one!

Which of these you like better? Would you like a tutorial for any of the elements you see on these manicures? Let me know in the comments! ♥

Now, I gotta go get sleep, but I'll be back tomorrow, so see you then!

Have a lovely day ♥

Greyscale

Hey guys!

How are you all today? ♥

Sorry for the silence here, but I've been much busier than I thought, and haven't had the proper down to sit down and write a post. Even today, I had a change of schedule and that made the whole difference about what I was going to do today. Oh well. But at least I get to spend more time with my lovely girl H than I thought.

And so tomorrow, we're gonna have some girl-time in the city with her. Yay! ♥

Anyways, today's post is just this outfit I wore earlier, a nice comfy greyscale look with a pair of heavily ripped jeans. (The bag doesn't fit there at all, but I didn't have a better one at hand at the moment.)

Very simple, little edgy, and very "me". I totally love this kind of looks and could live forever in clothes like these. The jeans here used to be a little more subtly ripped, but last month I felt they need more. In these pics, they aren't yet completely ready - as you can see, one side is more destroyed than other - but soon enough you will probably see the finished product here. If you would like to learn how to do this to your own jeans, let me know and I will post a tutorial. ;)

But, what do you guys think about this look?

Now, I gotta head to work. I'm not sure whether I will have the time to post tomorrow, but on Friday there will be at least one post. ;)

Have a lovely day ♥

Blog ya later,

xoxo

Johanna
