What have you all been up to today?

We had a little dinner date today, which was amazing after a while. I love to have a date with my man every once in a while - still after 3,5 years of being together. It's so nice to get the chance to really do your hair and makeup and such, and feel like it's a special occasion. :)

Today's post shows a little more classic side of me than you usually see. As I get older, I really want to try and get some classic aspects to my clothing and style - while still maintaining my own touch to it. So when I found this winter coat, I knew I had to get it, as it would serve many styles and for so, so many years.



It's long and black with lots of buttons, so what's there not to love? And the knitted collar is super cute!

I was trying to style this whole thing after deciding to wear red lipstick that day. You know the feeling when you just need some small key element, having then to style everything else according to that? This was one of those days. I was also going for somewhat classic, though I'm not sure how well that translates. Personally I loved this, and could see myself wearing this again many, many times. :)

Also, I wanted to add this photo, as it shows better my simple makeup for the day:



I don't know about you, but personally I rank this look quite high on my list of outfits here on the blog.

Now I need to start going through photos for future posts, while reading blogs at the same time - and then I will pack some more boxes for the move. It's going well so far, but there's so much to do still! I can't wait to get pictures of the new place for you all. I'm so excited! ♥
