Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been having quite a busy week with new course at school and other things as well. I'm so excited and happy that it starts to slowly feel like spring. But I'll have pretty winter-like pictures to share for a while still - because Finland. Today I really wanted to share this look I wore to office a little while back. It's not the most typical look for me, but I really wanted to do something a bit more spring vibed.

Today, I'll show you how I have been bundling up these crazy cold days we've had here in Finland quite a bit lately. In other words, see how my true winter gear looks like!

Heya everyone!

How are you all today? ♥

I'm typing on an ungodly hour (2:20am to be exact) since we had a little independent fire escape practice again at the building, and I find sleeping a bit tough after that. Oh well, at least it gives me a reason to blog. I noticed I have yet another wintery outfit to share with you, and this one also has some snow in the background. Not that we'd have that anymore, it's all practically gone. I hope that means spring, I have so many ideas for the warmer weather and ice-free sidewalks.

Anyhow, to the outfit:

This was one of my favorite looks to wear this winter - yes, I consider winter being over already as the snow is mostly gone - and I can't wait to get to the full spring looks. There still will be some transition outfits for sure as the weather is still kinda cold, but hopefully I can already switch to lighter jackets/coats and maybe even wear skirts. ;)

How are you all today? ♥

Who else is excited about the Olympic hockey? I am, as the Finnish team will be fighting for medals - only they need to find out whether they'll be in the bronze game or gold game by playing against team Sweden the coming afternoon. I'm so happy I get to watch the game before work that I actually planned on baking a big pile of cupcakes for it. (And they make a nice present for the relatives we're going to visit on Saturday!)

But however, today I wanted to share a winter outfit with you. This is from the very cold days, but I can admit wearing this kind of outfits kinda lot lately, even though the weather isn't that cold anymore. So, without further ado, my winter's go-to kind of look:

So this is the way I usually dress in winter time, when it's cold. Pretty simple, but accessorized so that it has somewhat it's own twist. I absolutely love the oxblood jeans I bought from another blogger, they're so comfy and cool and I've been nearly living in them. (That is, when I'm not living in my sports pants, haha.) What else could I say... Oh, I tried to match my boots to my furry hood there, can you see?

So, that's all for today, I try to get a nail art post and a baking post up for you this week, at least - hopefully even more - but we'll see what I can come up with. ;)

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had an amazing weekend ♥

We sure had with the boys, we ate well, drank a little and watched sports a lot. Like every time, we had so much fun - I can't remember when I've laughed as much as I did this weekend.

Also, like mentioned, my parents were visiting us earlier this week and my mom was wonderful enough to get me a new winter coat for the colder weather ahead. I absolutely fell in love with this one, and it's so warm, too!



Long enough to nearly reach my knees, thick enough to wear no matter how cold it gets.



Pockets for important stuff, secured enough even for downhill skiing.



Extended inner sleeves that keep the cold wind outside.



Very cute outer pockets.



Trusted brand, known for good outdoor clothing.



And of course, some cute fur to finish off the cute look.

So, bring it on, winter, hit me with your best shot! I have an awesome coat to stand through the rain, the snow, the cold and the dark. ♥
