Army Inspired

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been getting so much better with the flu already and I've also gotten more of my school stuff in order. It feels so good, and I'm feeling like so many things are falling in place right now. That's also the case with blogging. I had a bit of a slump there during January and February, but I feel more inspired now to write and do stuff. It's the sunlight, it totally charges me differently than to darkness we call winter here in Finland.I still have to warn you a bit about possible inconsistency with my schedule here, because I'll be starting my thesis pretty much right now, and I don't know how much that will take my time and energy. But once that's done, I will definitely have loads of time for blogging and maybe even making videos at some point.

Anyway, I think that's more than enough blabbering to start out this post, so why don't we get into the army inspired outfit of the day:

Winter look

Edgy Side

Hey lovelies! How has your weekend been? ♥ We had a lovely little date day today, and I also got around getting few things for blogging and instagramming. (Yes, I definitely think Instagram can be used as a word. Don't judge me.) I have been reorganizing once again my too full closet, starting with socks, leggings and so on, and that part looks quite lovely so far, even though I say so myself. Anyway, in today's post I'm showing a bit edgier look than I usually wear, but I wanted to try something new on one of my days off. I hope you can find it interesting although it's different.

Edgy rock look

Skeleton

Hello lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

This Monday flew by incredibly fast and I feel like I haven't gotten anything done outside the workplace. Which is pretty much true, we only did some grocery shopping and washed a bit laundry, which is quite little for Monday. But I guess the easy start was needed then.

Today, I have a quick outfit post for you with probably one of the edgiest outfits I've ever shown here. I like to go a bit overboard with my outfits sometimes, and I guess you could say this is one of those times. But I personally loved it, and I hope at least some of you will too.

Skeleton top: eBay Leather shorts: H&M Jacket: secondhand Tights: ASOS Boots: Skobox Necklace: Gina Tricot Bracelets: KappAhl, H&M, gift from friend, Europehouse Rings: eBay, Born Pretty Store

So there. I know this might be something you either love or hate passionately, but I personally like it. I feel so confident when I'm wearing rock clothes, and I feel like I'm able to do more things. I get plenty of hateful looks for wearing things like these, or even a tad milder ones, but novadays that's just how I know my look is on point (hear my inner rebel in that sentence?). The top was such a great find from the internet, and can't wait to get more items like that later on. Also, if someone knows where I can get affordable vintage band shirts, please leave tips on the comments so I could find some to my closet!

What do you think about this look? Let me know in the comments!

Now that it's way past my bedtime and all, it's the perfect time to go get a quick shower and slap some tan on so my skin can start prepping for the coming weekend at the cabin. I will see you all very soon with another post, and hopefully soon I will have some wedding pics to share with you.

Have a fabulous day ♥

Halloween Look: Rocker Babe ♥

Hey guys!

Happy Monday ♥

Today I wanted to show you another idea for a Halloween costume. This on was inspired by Taylor Momsen, whose provocative style I admire a lot. I wouldn't get away with that, not only because I'm way too short, but also because I need try to keep my looks somewhat business appropriate.

But for the parties, and for Halloween, I think anything goes.

 photo DSC02959Large.jpg

Somehow my lips look very overdrawn, but let's not care too, too much about that. Okay?

 photo DSC02965Large.jpg

For this look, you need several shades of purple eye shadow, dark red lipstick and lip liner, and big hair.

 photo DSC02974Large.jpg photo DSC02979Large.jpg

For the outfit, I would wear something kinda sexy and possible with a punk vibe. I paired a giant top and a "school girl" skirt, topped with edgy boots and lots of jewelry. Even though I still have a couple of looks to come, I would rank this my own favorite. (No surprise there, huh?)

Let me know what you think about this look, and what are your own plans for a costume, in the comments below! ♥

I'm off to school now, but hopefully I will get another post up for you tonight. Talk to you soon!

Have a fabulous week!

Meow ♥

Heya everybody!

How are you all today? ♥

I'm currently on the road, travelling to my hometown for the weekend, which will probably be everything I need to cheer me up after a week of being sick. (Though, I gotta say, my lovely girls at school have been doing a great job at that as well! I love you!)

So today, I'm trying to blog on the phone, so I have no idea how this will work out (and I probably have to edit the layout later, but I couldn't resist posting as I'm riding shotgun). Anyway, I really wanted to share this little look with you guys:

Jacket: H&M Top: New Yorker Shorts: Seppälä Tights: Asos Shoes: Boohoo Scarf: Gina Tricot Hat: Boohoo Bracelets: DIY, Accessorize, KappAhl Rings:Gina Tricot, SpiritStore

So, that kind of a look this time. A little different one than usually, but like you should know by now, I love to play with my looks quite  a lot. This was inspired by listening way too much punk pop (who am I kidding, there's no such thing as too much punk anything) and going through street style pictures.

Let me know your thoughts about this look in the comments below!

Now, I will shut up here for a day, but I'll be back on Sunday with a brand new post. ♥

Have a fantastic weekend!

This Is What Rock N Roll Looks Like ♥

Hey lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I had a pretty great day at school even though I'm tired as heck. That's what you get for painting your nails in the middle of the night... Anyways, before I get to bed, I really, really wanted to share one of my absolute favorite outfits for the autumn. And I dare to say so even if the autumn is still very young. Ready? Let's go.

 photo DSC01519Large.jpg photo DSC01560Large.jpg photo DSC01522Large.jpg photo DSC01548Large.jpg photo DSC01525Large.jpg photo DSC01549Large.jpg photo DSC01533Large.jpg

Shirt: secondhand Jeans: Gina Tricot Boots: SpiritStore Bag: Mango Belt: Gina Tricot Rings: JC Bracelets: Europehouse, Gina Tricot, Nelly.com Sunglasses: H&M Earrings: Gina Tricot Earcuff: a gift from my mom and dad

So that kind of a look today. I felt super confident in this, and would absolutely be fine wearing things like this for the rest of my life. Seriously. I love edgy stuff like that - like you will be seeing even more than before this autumn I guess. Also I really loved the accessories here, for once I was absolutely sure about every single item I put on.

Let me know what you think about this look in the comments below!

Tomorrow, I will be having a long day once again so I can't promise a post tomorrow - but I will promise to be back by Thursday if I just am healthy and all. So stay tuned!

Have a lovely day ♥

Ruffled skirt ♥

Hello everybody!

How are you? ♥

This weekend we have been taking a little time for just us and so on, so again I've been pretty much the whole weekend away from computer. However, I did get three posts worth of stuff in the storage for you, so I guess that makes up for my absence. Also, today I started again the 30-day ab challenge (you know, the same one I did last year), only this time I'll do the first week fully with the day 7 numbers instead of starting from day 1. And with the help of my friend Adeola, I found some yoga stuff I will be adding to my daily life to make my body work better. I remember loving yoga in the past, so I believe it's such a great addition to my life.

I could talk about my exercise stuff for hours and hours - so if you want, I could try and write a post about it this month - but now it's really time to get on with today's post. Which is one with another outfit of the day.

 photo DSC08674Large.jpg

Can you tell how short I am? Like really. Try to guess, according to this picture.

 photo DSC08745Large.jpg photo DSC08721Large.jpg

This was truly something I loved to wear, and I kinda wish I could dress more like this in the future.

Skirt: Oasap Leggings: Seppälä Knit: New Yorker Jacket: H&M Necklace: Boohoo Pearl bracelets: H&M, from mom "Love" bracelet: Born Pretty Store Belt: mom's old Booties: Boohoo

So there you go, a girly little look with high heels and all. This was so comfortable to wear - even the shoes - that I could easily put this on again any time.

What do you all think about this look? Let me know in the comments! ♥

Now, I gotta go hit the bed so that I can get up nice and early for my exercise and such. But I'll see you soon enough.

Have a fabulous day!

Slashed leggings ♥

Hello lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

It's incredible how time has been flying the past few days, I was supposed to open the laptop many times and start typing, but yet I haven't. However today, as I am prepping for the Easter - planning outfits, buying some food, checking schedules - I found a little time to sit down and write a post. I also need to write one or two posts for the weekend, as I will not be reaching the computer that much. We will be visiting friends and family the whole weekend, and I don't wanna miss a thing because of technology.

What plans do you have for the Easter weekend? Do you celebrate Easter, or some other holiday right now? Let me know in the comments!

Anyway, today I wanted to share this look with you, that I built around the "slashed leggings" I bought a while ago from Born Pretty Store.

 photo DSC07694Large-1.jpg photo DSC07763Large.jpg photo DSC07687Large.jpg

I usually don't wear leggings as pants, but with long knits, I guess it's kind of acceptable. I really, really love these leggings and can't wait to rock them more.

Mix & match in both nails and accessories. If you want to see more pictures of these nails, see this post (click!).

Leggings: Born Pretty Store
Jacket: H&M
Tiger shirt: SammyDress
Sneakers: Boohoo
Sunglasses: Boohoo
Necklaces: Gina Tricot
Rings: JC, SpiritStore

I wanted something simple and casual, but still bring some street style to it, and that's why I added the girly jacket and rings. I guess this type of outfits will be my uniform this weekend, as we are having casual Easter instead of celebrating big. Not that we'd usually celebrate that big, it's more of a family holiday for us. This is also pretty much the way I like to dress now that the weather is getting warmer - before I get to wear shorts, skirts and dresses properly, that is.

What do you think about this look, and what are you wearing today? ♥

Now, I need to head out to get some exercise, after which I still have a ton of things to do before work. Who knew it's so serious business to get ready for holidays? Anyways, I will not entirely abandon the blog for the weekend, I will have scheduled posts for you, and I will try to reply to the comments as much as I can. You can always reach me through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, even if I'm not writing stuff so actively, and I will probably take snapshots with my phone along the way and share them on those three platforms. So get social and follow me on those, I will usually try to return the favor.

But now, I gotta dash!

Have a fabulous day ♥

Greyscale

Hey guys!

How are you all today? ♥

Sorry for the silence here, but I've been much busier than I thought, and haven't had the proper down to sit down and write a post. Even today, I had a change of schedule and that made the whole difference about what I was going to do today. Oh well. But at least I get to spend more time with my lovely girl H than I thought.

And so tomorrow, we're gonna have some girl-time in the city with her. Yay! ♥

Anyways, today's post is just this outfit I wore earlier, a nice comfy greyscale look with a pair of heavily ripped jeans. (The bag doesn't fit there at all, but I didn't have a better one at hand at the moment.)

Very simple, little edgy, and very "me". I totally love this kind of looks and could live forever in clothes like these. The jeans here used to be a little more subtly ripped, but last month I felt they need more. In these pics, they aren't yet completely ready - as you can see, one side is more destroyed than other - but soon enough you will probably see the finished product here. If you would like to learn how to do this to your own jeans, let me know and I will post a tutorial. ;)

But, what do you guys think about this look?

Now, I gotta head to work. I'm not sure whether I will have the time to post tomorrow, but on Friday there will be at least one post. ;)

Have a lovely day ♥

Blog ya later,

xoxo
