Mint & Stripes Office Look

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I'm currently waiting to get on the road so we can start yet another hockey weekend with the boys, and I thought I could use the time wisely by posting one outfit for you. This one is something I wore to the office couple of weeks ago and liked quite a lot.

Stripes and blazer

Pastel vs. Leopard

Hello lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

Today has been a training day, and it seems like again time has flown by so fast. I don't know how in the world I will get everything I need to do done before the weekend! So, to catch up with everything, I will keep my blabbering very short and focus on the pictures instead, okay?

Let's do this.

So it's time for a nail art post again, the first design is this pastel colored, galaxy inspired one I did a while back and liked quite a lot. It was simple but girly and it was definitely fun to do.

I really love doing these sponging manis, because you basically can't mess them up at all. So, I would say they are a pretty good one to try if you are a beginner, because the technique is very forgiving. That's why I love to do these if I only have a little time for my nails.

The polishes I used were China Glaze Feel The Breeze, Float On, Sweet Hook, White On White, Dancing And Prancing, Fairy DustO.P.I. Shine For Me and GOSH Blue Balloon. The droplet studs are from Born Pretty Store

Next is a simple neon mani I created just before receiving the new China Glaze neon collection in the mail. What better time to give some praise to the previous neon collections?

These nails were so me, leopard print and flashy color, and yet very appropriate to everywhere because they kinda look like a classic red mani with a twist.

The polishes used here are China Glaze Crimson, White On White and Surfin' For Boys. SFB looks much more orange in the pics than it actually is, but it's pretty both ways. The only tool needed for these was a dotting tool.

So there, two new nail art designs for you.

Which one do you prefer? Let me know in the comments!

Now this girl is off to bed and hopefully tomorrow I will get everything I need done, because I have a ton to do before heading north to my bachelorette party. I will schedule a post or two for the time I'm away, so stay tuned for that. Also, you can follow me on the social media platforms for random things you won't see here on the blog!

Have a great day ♥

Pink Galaxy vs. Cute Animals

Hello lovelies!

How are you doing today? ♥

I finally had a day to chill out, breathe deep and take time off from everything. Also, some wedding planning has taken place. I'm so excited to see our tiny party coming together, and next month I get to do the last preparations. It seems pretty overwhelming that in couple of months I will actually be a married lady. That's crazy.

But anyway, today I wanted to share these nail art designs with you.

First is this pink galaxy thing that I created a while back (before Easter) and absolutely loved wearing. If you have been reading my blog for a while now, you probably know that I love galaxy prints a lot. And when it's pink, it's even better.

I added lots of glitter to make the mani extra fabulous, and I think that worked quite well. Also, looking these pictures make me wanna paint galaxy mani on my nails again.

Polishes I used were White On White, Escaping Reality, Seas The Day, Float On, Feel The Breeze, Sweet Hook and Fairy Dust by China Glaze, Glitter Bomb Disco Diva by Rimmel and Madeleine by Make Up Store. For the decorating I used thin nail art brush, dotting tool and small pieces of makeup sponges.

The other mani is actually my this year's Easter mani, which you probably have already seen on my Facebook and Instagram, but let's post it here as well in case you lot would like some inspiration for next year. But of course, why not paint cute animals and such on other occasions as well, there's no rule against that.

DSC05942 (Large)DSC05933 (Large)

This was pretty unusual mani for me, as I actually painted some figures and such, instead of creating simple patterns and all. I think I did pretty well, but that's really up to you.

The polishes I used were White On White, Sun Upon My Skin, Grass Is Lime Greener, I'm With The Lifeguard, In The Limelight, Float On by China Glaze, Green Couture by L'Oreal and pink, purple and light blue nail art pens by Kiss. Also, a glitter top coat Portland Dream from Viva La Diva collection by Alessandro.

So there you go, two different manis, both of which have their pros and cons. But now it's your turn to say:

What do you think about these manis? Let me know in the comments!

I'm going to hit the bed now, but I'll be back tomorrow evening with another little post. Stay tuned my darlings, and I'll talk to you soon.

Have a fabulous start for your week ♥

Gold Details vs Kitties ♥

Hello my darlings!

How was your weekend? ♥

I was actually planning to blog yesterday, but life had other plans and my anxious little head decided to throw a 12-hour long panic attack on me. Yeah, I have tendency to anxiety when I get super stressed. Not necessarily a big deal but not too comfortable either. But luckily we had fun night with the boys so that made me feel loads better. Also, I filmed a nail art video - though only after editing I can tell if that is any useful to anyone, other than for me as I learn how to edit.

Tomorrow, I need to step outside my comfort zone and get to interviewing random people in the city. That's for a school project as we have to do a research for a company to pass a class. All fun, except for the interviewing. Not that I don't like people, but I get easily socially anxious. Even though I usually don't show it and never really talk about it with people. But hey, I told you now, so, friends?

Anyway, for today, I planned I'd share these nail art designs with you. And this also serves for practice on how to use a Flickr account. I'm figuring I should try to use that too, as so many bloggers seem to get better quality out of that than they do with Photobucket. I will go on and see about that. But let's get to the pics!

So the first manicure today is this dark red (it looks black, but let me assure you, it's red) base with pretty gold details. I did this solely to try out the leaf gold flakes, but it came out kind good!

The only polish shade I used is China Glaze Crimson, which just might be my favorite autumn shade for nails. The striping tape, rhinestones and the leaf gold are from Born Pretty Store.

DSC03137 (Large)

I really, really loved wearing this mani, although the tape starting coming off the next day. I'm so bad with it. But hey, something I can learn to be better at.

The second one is not as autumny, but at least as cute one.

DSC03168 (Large)

This one is a combination of pastel blue, glitter sandwich and cute decals. This was my first time using decals, and I can definitely recommend them to anyone who struggles with painting pictures on nails, but would still want to have more than plain colors or like stripes or something. They are so easy to use, and they stay on perfectly, at least once you add a top coat.

DSC03163 (Large)DSC03160 (Large)

These decals are from Born Pretty Store, and the polishes I used are China Glaze At Vase Value and It's A Trap-Eze! Both of the polishes have been used in so many of my manis, and will probably be seen many times more. Hope you guys still love them as well.

DSC03156 (Large)

I absolutely loved this kitty mani, I have even read the manga where the cat, Chi, is from. And if you haven't seen it, you should. It's adorable! And if you check it out, you will totally understand why I had to have these - if you don't get it already.

DSC03148 (Large)

That's everything I have for you today. I hope you enjoyed this somewhat quick post, and yet again, sorry for giving the silent treatment over the weekend. But I had such a great time with my boys that I wouldn't have exchanged it to time alone on the laptop, which I know you understand.

Still, I wanna know what you think about this post, so let me know in the comments! ♥

Like I mentioned, tomorrow I will be somewhat stuck with my school stuff, but I will try to get something written on Tuesday the latest (we have interviews then as well, but I'm sure we will get things done in timely fashion). I'm so bummed we don't have the proper time to photograph when there's daylight, but I try to make the most of it on weekends and so on. But don't hate me if I don't get too many outfits up, or at least ones with nice outside background. I try to compensate with lifestyle posts though!

But now, I must stop blogging and start getting ready to bed. Talk to you soon though!

Have a lovely start for your week ♥
