My Nail Stash: Mints

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I'm happy that the April is starting and that the work week is over for now. My plans for the weekend are simply to relax and get some workout done, as well as watching Formula One and so on. In today's post, I wanted to share you a bit more of my nail polish collection. The mints, to be more exact.

And yes, I own enough more or less mint polishes to make own post about them. Don't judge me.

My Nail Stash: Greys

Hey lovelies! How has your week started? I surprised myself yesterday by not being on a computer at all, but then got up a bit earlier today to write this little intro here and schedule this one to a humane hour of the day. (And didn't publlish it before 7 when I was writing this.) Today I wanted to share another Nail Stash post. The point of these posts is to give you a chance to see some the different colors there are out there, and to scare myself out of buying new ones. (Which so far isn't so successful, oops.)

But let's get started with it:

DSC08989 (Large)
From left to right, all by China Glaze:

Razzle Me, Dazzle Me is a part of Glitz, Bitz 'n Pieces collection, and although it's supposed to be light pink and black, the pink is so pale I totally sort this to greys. And yes, I will be a bit irrational with my sorting since I try to sort the glitter ones under the colors as well.

Glitz N Pieces is a sister to the first one, and instead of pink, it has silver. What I didn't mention in the first one is that these polishes have different sizes of hex glitter and some bar glitter in them. It's a cool combo for glitter sandwiches and for topping solid colors as well.

Lorelei's Tiara a beautiful silver glitter polish with some light blue glitters in it. This one would be perfect for some winter/Frozen inspired manis. There's so much fine glitter that you can actually make it opaque with couple of coats. Which I love in a glitter polish.

Some Like It Haute is dark grey glitter mix with some holo silver glitters in it. Like the previous one, this also makes an opaque finish alone - although this as well needs the couple coats to not show the nail through.

Small Nail Polish Haul ♥

Hello everyone!

Again I'm blogging at an insane hour. Like seriously, I'm kinda supposed to get up in 5 hours to go run some laboratory tests on me - nothing serious though, I promise - but I'm guessing I'm mentally rescheduling that to Friday morning. I will try to get up tomorrow but I think Friday will be better for my body.

But more about that if and when that's relevant. Today, I've been chilling home, playing a bit Sims 3 and making little things like homemade granola and such. This weekend, one of our best friends will be spending time with us which will be totally amazing. Anyway, today I just wanted to show you these cute nail polishes I picked up a while ago - like I've told in Instagram already.

From left to right: IsaDora Holographic Nails Disco Ball, IsaDora Holographic Nails Glowing Beetle, Maybelline Color Show Street Artist Top Coat Urban Vibe and Essie Belugaria. I was going to buy an eyebrow product but ended up with these instead. The IsaDora ones were half off so I had to get them, even though I didn't really need them. You know how it is.

 photo DSC08483Large.jpg

Closer look of Disco Ball, which is a very pretty holographic glitter polish that is silvery blue with different size glitters. Absolutely gorgeous and definitely worth the half off price.

 photo DSC08487Large.jpg

Next up, Glowing Beetle. This one is Disco Ball's greener sister that isn't so, so different, actually you can't tell much difference even in real life. But it is kind of more green than the previous one.

 photo DSC08489Large.jpg

Urban Vibe, like mentioned before, is a top coat with black and orange in it. It has glitters of different shapes and sizes, so it will surely make a great finish on many spring and summer manicures. They have so amazing polishes in the same collection, and I hope I can pick up some later on before they're sold out.

Lastly, Belugaria. A polish I've been obsessing over so, so much since Essie launched it. It kind of resembles caviar with glitter in it, but then again it is a completely unique thing. Love this so badly.

Swatches of Disco Ball (bottom) and Glowing Beetle (top). Can you tell the difference?

And then, Belugaria and Urban Vibe. Very nice ones, and the pictures really don't do justice to any of these polishes. But once I get a proper lens for closeups...

So, that's all today, I hope this post wasn't completely lame and all - I promise there'll be more interesting ones up later this week!

Let me know what you think about these polishes in the comments below!

Now, I'm going to get some sleep as I will wake up early no matter what. See you soon though!

Have a fabulous day ♥

Neon Green vs. Feathers

Hi sweeties!

How are you all? ♥

I just finished my second to last week of work before my summer vacation, and I'm so, so excited about the plans we have already for the time. But more on that later. (I'm already planning the posts for the time I can't access my laptop much, so even with me busy with life, the blog will roll. And I have my phone to check the comments every once in a while!)

Anyway, tomorrow is once again time for some nail art. Both of these designs are somewhat colorful (I love to use the neons in summer!) but they are still quite different.

First up, neon green goodness with some silver sparkles. Simple to the point, but having this little twist with the all silver accent nail.

The colors I used were China Glaze In The Lime Light, Essie Set In Stones and IsaDora Silver Sparkles. There's also a thick coat of white polish under the green to make it more vibrant.

I'm usually a stranger when it comes to wearing green polish, but somehow every color looks lovelier in neon... So I ended up wearing green polish. And I liked it. A lot.

And after filing my nails down a bit, I changed the look of them completely - while keeping some elements similar:

Neon, feathers, silver sparkles.... Love them! This is a design I have never ever tried before, but I think I should absolutely do something like this again soon.

The colors I used were China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy, Essie Muchi Muchi, IsaDora Silver Sparkles, Essie  Set In Stones, and a bunch of nail art paints by Kiss.

This is one is one of my personal favorites so far, I really loved every bit of this mani.

Now, your turn: What do you think about these manis? And, which is your favorite?

Also, remember to go and submit some more questions to this post (click the link) so I can make you a fun answer post later on! Thank you so much!

Now this girl needs to go get a bit more social with the boys, who are playing NHL with such a big enthusiasm. ;) Tomorrow, we are going to the beach to get some tan and have a great time - and I can't wait for that! So, I better shut down the laptop soon, and get some sleep so I won't be a complete zombie in the morning. ;D

Have a lovely day! ♥

Blog ya later,

xoxo

Pink Leopard Print Studded Nails

Heya People! ♥

How are you all?

Like promised yesterday, here's a manicure I did some while ago (and the one you've seen already in my Instagram photos). But I wanted to show you better pictures of it.

So, here goes.

Photobucket

I'm not quite sure where I got the inspiration from, but I really wanted to combine two favorite things: animal print and studs. The fact it also has pink and gold is just a lucky bonus. ;)

Photobucket

Many have already asked for a tutorial for these nails - and for your happiness, I can tell that I have photographed one already, and it'll be up in next few weeks. It's a different color than this, because I don't like to do the same thing twice with my nails. But it's the same design more of less, so you will learn to make this. It's quite easy, I tell you!

Photobucket

And because someone will want to know, the polishes used for this manicure were Essie All In One Base Coat, China Glaze I'm Not Lion, IsaDora Pink Lemonade (715) and Essie Good To Go topcoat. Studs came from Kiss nail art sticker sheet, and I painted the leopard print myself. More details will be on the tutorial! ♥

I hope you liked this manicure, please let me know what you think on the comment box! ;)

Have a pleasant week!
