Studded White & Stripes With Roses

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been enjoying the start of autumn and the little things in life so much lately, and I really hope you have too. Like mentioned, the autumn really makes me feel alive like never before - which I actually talked about with my cousin yesterday and she felt the same - and I hope that will translate also to my blog and social media content.

Today, we're digging the archives a bit and checking out these nail designs I've failed to post earlier. But now is as good time as ever to post them. I think.

My Nail Stash: Whites

Hello lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

I've been shooting a new Halloween look today, as well as chilling and watching some F1. So overall it's a great weekend I'm having. And I have a day off on Monday as well, so I'm thinking I might get most Halloween looks done this month already. Which would be cool because I still have to edit them and such so I need my sweet time for that as well.

Today, I'm starting another series around nails (don't worry, this will only be posted every once in a while, I have a ton more that are not related to nails), and I hope at least some of you will like it. I'm introducing my nail stash color by color, starting off tomorrow with white.

So here we go:

DSC08969 (Large)

Okay, technically these first ones aren't really white, but they fit here better than anywhere else. So from left to right: Essie First Base my go-to base coat at the moment, Essie Good To Go - fast drying top coat which was my go-to before buying HK Girl by Glisten And Glow, and Matte Top Coat by Born Pretty Store

DSC08970 (Large)

Ghoulish Glow - glow in the dark top coat which is a China Glaze staple every Halloween. Not the best one out there, I've heard, but I think it works okay. There's Snow One Like You - texture polish that looks like a blanket of snow on your nails. White On White - my go-to white polish that I use in so many of my manis. Snow Globe - a cute glitter that glistens in many colors and that has both round and hex ones in it.

DSC08976 (Large)

Essie Blanc - my previous go-to white. White Konad Stamping Polish, quite self-explaining. Ciate Angel Wings - a gorgeous pearly white. Ciate Halo - beautiful shimmer that glows in pink and blue once the light hits it.

DSC08977 (Large)

IsaDora Graffiti Top Coat is a plain white effect polish that gives the nice crackled effect to your mani. Kiss Nail Art Pen a good tool for tiny nail art, like striping or such. And last but not least Art Club Nail Art Pen in glittery white shade - mainly glitter, not so much white. But still.

So there are my white polishes. If you have any questions about these ones, hit me up in the comments and I try to answer as well as I can. I will be showing more of my polishes later, and I need to say that the latest haul (which you can see here) is not included here because I took the photos before that one got to me.

Do you have a favorite white polish, and if you do, which one is it? Let me know in the comments!

Now, I'm gonna take my sweet time reading some blogs, because that is a luxury I haven't gotten to do in  while and I miss it a lot. I will see you all tomorrow in another little post, and in the meantime you can follow me on social media for more frequent updates. Tomorrow, I will be creating another Halloween look, and a sneak peek will be up on Instagram once I get it done.

Have a lovely day, dolls ♥

White On White ♥

Hello darlings!

How are you all doing today? ♥

Sorry for the unnecessarily long blogging break, but as we've been at the country in a way, and it's been rainy with thunder, I haven't really had the chance to blog and all. Anyway, I figured tonight it's finally time to get a new post out, and I promise there will be a new one up on Sunday night the latest.

Now, what's up with everything? My vacation has started well and all, even with the coeliac disease diagnose I got on Monday. So it's gluten free diet for me from now on, which feels like a challenge but I'm totally happy to do it because it makes my body stay healthier. So that's all the big news this time. If you want, I can write something about my lifestyle change later on when I really see what it does to me.

Today's post is about my simple birthday look from last month. We never really celebrated, because I had to work that night, but we did go to an early dinner that day. As you can see, this was way before my gluten free diet, so if you see strange things, not to worry - I'm not eating exactly like that anymore.

We went to eat at Pancho Villa, which is a nice line of restaurants in Finland that make reasonably priced food with Mexican touch. I ordered chicken with chèvre cheese, fries and veggies. It was pretty tasty, I must say. My man had one of the burgers, and apparently it was good as well.

 photo DSC09388Large.jpg

And because it was my birthday, I drank one beer.

As it was just a casual day, I didn't have anything that amazing to wear, but I figured it was nice enough to share with you guys!

 photo DSC09391Large.jpg

Even with the lack of tan, I thought it was nice to wear all white outfit for the warm summer day that it was. I spiced the whole thing up with pink and rose gold, and just threw along a random bag that happened to have my stuff in it.

So, that's my casual birthday look for this year. Maybe next year, I will be able to have a bit more festive birthday and so on, but this was perfect for now.

Let me know what you think about the look! ♥

Tomorrow, we're heading to Kuopio Wine Festival with our friends, and I'm guessing it will create so many fun memories. Hang out with me via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram to keep up what we're doing. But nevertheless, see you all here on Sunday!

Also, happy 4th of July to all my friends in the US, hopefully the storms haven't been causing too much harm to you and your loved ones.

Have a great day, everyone ♥

Blogger Inspired Nail Art ♥

Hello gorgeous people!

How's your weekend going? ♥ We're currently just chilling home as our guests are visiting a housewarming party of their other friends, so I figured I'd use the time to blog. I've been excited to post this one for you as it is a bit different than usually.

Today's post is a nail art post - which isn't really different - but the twist here is that the nail art was actually inspired by this gorgeous outfit I saw on other blogger's site and thought it would look amazing as nail art. You can first check out the inspiring outfit here in Carla's blog: http://www.carlaviolet.com/2014/05/resort-ready.html

And then, see my nail art version of it:

Blue and white, hand-painted floral print and studs. Studs just because I really need them everywhere.

 photo DSC08898Large.jpg photo DSC08914Large.jpg

The polishes I used were China Glaze White On White, Splish Splash and Ciaté Headliner. The studs are from Born Pretty Store.

 photo DSC08890Large.jpg

I really liked this mani and I think I should definitely find more inspiration from fashion and style, because I follow so many blogs and always keep seeing different outfits, but many of them wouldn't suit my personal style so I could just wear them on my nails.

 photo DSC08892Large.jpg

So, what do you guys think about these? ♥

Now, I will go read some blogs while waiting our friends, but I try to be back tomorrow with another post.

Have a lovely day!

Red, Black, White ♥

Hey lovelies!

How are you all? ♥

Again, I'm posting super late, but today I'm really struggling getting everything done before the guests arrive, so I'm cutting some hours off my sleeping time (kids, never do the same!) as I didn't want to not blog today. I still need to tidy up the place a bit in the morning, so I guess I'll end up with like 4 hours of sleep or something. But thankfully, on Sunday I get to sleep in a bit and on Wednesday I'll actually have a day off for once!

Anyway, today I just wanted to quickly share a simple outfit with you before going to plan one for tomorrow's hockey game.

 photo DSC07190Large.jpg

This outfit is something I wore couple of weeks ago when I was hanging out with the boys, bowling, playing pool, etc. But I still tried to keep a bit girly, so I added some red to the bottom and on my lips as well.

So, this was my chill out outfit, very simple with colors I really like, and it also has two secondhand items which is always a plus.

But now, let me know: What do you think about this look? ♥

I need to go pick up my clothes for tomorrow and then get some sleep. I'll get back as soon as I can - on Monday by the latest - and I also try to update my Instagram, Twitter or Facebook during the weekend so you can catch me there if you need me!

Have a fabulous weekend ♥

Pink Nails x2 ♥

Hi lovelies

How are you all today? ♥

I had a great day, I once again started it with a jog, and in the afternoon I had a date with my friend L. It was so good to get to gossip about things and just get a laugh with a girlfriend, I totally needed it. Thanks L, you rock! ♥

Anyway, today's post is just a quite short one with nail art pictures - as I'll have a longer one coming up tomorrow or the day after. As usual, I have two looks for you here, hope you like them!

 photo DSC00620Large.jpg

First one is a bright pink mani with gold glitter. Again I was doing a leopard print, since I just love it so much.

 photo DSC00624Large.jpg

The polishes I used were China Glaze Escaping Reality (two coats over a white polish), China Glaze I'm Not Lion (two coats over a random gold polish) and Essie Licorice.

 photo DSC00629Large.jpg

I was pretty happy with these nails, they have all the great elements ;) My cuticles aren't at their prettiest here, so sorry about that!

 photo DSC00630Large.jpg

And for once, the two manicures have something in common. They're both pink!

 photo DSC00635Large.jpg

...this one just isn't quite as bright. So here's a little half moon mani I made with white (Essie Blanc) and soft pink (Sally Hansen Sweetie Pie).

 photo DSC00639Large.jpg

Again, sorry about the cuticles, they were in horrible shape back then, but I've gotten them better since.

 photo DSC00641Large.jpg

I should've done these with the help of stickers, but I tried to practice my free hand painting - you can never do that too much! Also, my top coat was running low, so you can see pretty ugly stripes here and there :P Lesson there: when you have a fast dry top coat, make sure there's enough of it before using or it'll end up looking nasty!

But, your turn: What do you think about the manicures here? And, what are you wearing in your nails today? ♥

This girl is off to bed now, but I'll get back as soon as I can!

Have a fantastic day ♥¨

Blog ya later,

xoxo

Coral Lace & Black Leather

Hey lovelies,

How was your weekend? ♥

I have been spending some time with a close friend, had a Skype call with mom and dad, and now I'm reading through a huge pile of blog posts you all have been posting this weekend (there's a lot of work there, do you all have to be so fabulous and talented? ;)). It's actually raining now here in Finland, and I'm anxious to find a 10 minute gap it wouldn't rain, so I could go outside take some photos...

Maybe I'll get lucky, though. :D

The upcoming week will be kinda busy, my boss told me I'm needed at work even more than usual, so I think I'll write another post right after this one just so I can provide new material for you all despite the rush here. :D

Okay, so now I think it's time to show you another outfit I really loved to wear. I paired neon coral and black, wore a fab little accessories and topped it off with my favorite leather jacket. I hope you enjoy the look too!

Cropped leather jacket: VILA
Belt: mom's old

This was one of my favorite Summer looks this far, though it's still such early to say that... :D But there's pink, lace, some leather and an arm full of bling.... That's just so my thing. I think I need to figure out how to wear this a bit differently, so it doesn't get old. ;)

What are your thoughts about this look?

This time, I have a cute pink manicure to go together with this look. I wanted to use stars as I have been making a lot of animal prints lately, and this is what I came up with this time:

Manicure of the day

Photobucket

Photobucket

It's supposed to have a little ombre effect there, but it doesn't really show in the photos... :D It's more like a rough version of a French manicure with some stars on it. I've been thinking I should try out a more "bling" manicure for a midsummer party we're having with friends the next weekend... Do you think I should create something like that?

I really hope you'll all have a lovely week, the next post will be all about nails (nail care, nail art, etc...), and I hope you'll enjoy that when I get it posted. ♥

Now I think it stopped raining, finally, so I try and convince the love of my life to go out with me and take some pictures...

Blog ya later!

xoxo
